What Do You Love More, the Watchtower Society or the Brethren?

1John 3:14 says, “We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.”

1Pet 2:22-25 says, “Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth, through the spirit, unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently.”

Do you love the brethren, or do you just love the brotherhood/organization?  Is the love for the organization the same as loving the brethren?  Do you encourage your brethren or discourage them?  Do you let them know how much you appreciate them?   Do you provide a replenishing relationship for them or a draining relationship?  When brethren spend time with you, do they feel worn out or built up?  Do you add something to the brethren’s lives?  Do you bring them happiness and encourage them in their difficult experiences?

As a witness one day the Watchtower Society will not exist so it’s best I LOVE Jehovah his Son and my neigbour. I tried to leave a message on section SECRET ELDERS BOOK section but was not able.
The Book should be shredded, secret books belong to secret societies not good in a Christian organisation. My suggestion is an expanded Organisation Book that is available to all publishers baptised or not. This provides a level playing field, judicial committees need to be replaced with Shepherding Committees. Disfellowshiping process cancelled, with world wide amnesty for all disfellowshed persons including those chosen to be disassociated. No more shunning.
Public apology in public press directly by the governing body and offer of welcome to those presently shunned to return be welcomed and all shunning to be ceased forthwith whatever former members choose.
This will effectively display Christlike sorrow for the hurtful behaviour since the 1970’s and the harm its done to 100,000’s of brothers and sister and there associated families.
Of course someone is going to say how do you disapline and does not Jesus and Paul say remove the wicked man fro among yourselves.

I agree too. After discovering the Bible students then Truth has never been so clear. One of the best books I read but Russell was “Tabernacle Shadows of the Better Sacrifices”. The whole divine plan stems from this book and the Bible of course. After visiting the KH for 6 years and studying I wasn’t satisfied. Sure I learned the dead were asleep and there was no hell, immortal soul, or trinity. That’s there was a millennium. But something was missing. I then read the Divine Plan of the Ages that was shown in the back of a Study Ed of WT. I found the Bible students and ordered a copy. I wanted to know what drew them into the truth in the 1800’s. What I learned changed my life. I found that God has a plan for ALL mankind. That ALL would come from the grave and be given an opportunity. Not just 5 mins at the door. Not just those who believe the JW doctrine. That Israel is being regathered for a Millennial purpose. That God is not going to kill off the world before judgement day for not coming to an organization. I was taught as a JW that those who reject wouldn’t get a resurrection. I found out that wasn’t true. I finally found out that Jesus was a ransom for ALL. Not “all sorts of.” That the world of mankind will not be on trial for life until Judgment day (1000 year reign of Christ). What Russell taught was truly good news for ALL. Rutherford turned it into a message of “believe what we believe and you’ will not make it into a new world or be resurrected.” It was “Good tidings of Bad News”. God has a plan for ALL. Not just those who accept now. If they reject now they will come back from the grave as general restitutionists and have their trial in the 1000 years. If they accept the truth they then can consecrate themselves and run for the mark of the prize of the high calling and become part of the Bride of Christ. Jesus promised “if you suffer with me then you’ll reign with me” and “be thou faithful unto death and I will give you the crown of life”.
Once you become begotten of the Holy Spirit the truth will open up in a whole new way. I should have told you before that I was a Jw many of us where. After coming to the Bible students there is nothing that can convince me that this isn’t the truth. You’ll see the Bible in a deeper light. I used to think Genesis was boring. Now I see the Divine Plan in every story. I found out the in the tabernacle the number 144,000 is in all the measurements. That’s everything in the OT is typical. Just I can’t get enough. Learning that Abraham sending his servant to search for a bride for his son to inherit his whole household is a picture of God sending Holy Spirit to find a bride for his Son to inherit all things. The funny thing is the JW used to teach all of this but have moved to an overly simplified WT. so boring in my opinion. But I love typology and prophetic dramas and I found the Bible is FILLED with them.
