One last thing.I’ll admit I didn’t view the whole video,”Israel’s Appointment with Destiny”,because I got so upset by the things he said to the Baptist Church and their efforts.I am constantly in contact and in Baptist churches down here (Black and White,they are still quite segregated if you don’t know)trying desperately to witness,like the brother Rawson,who is trying directly to help the Jews,out of pure love,I’m sure.I will no doubt enjoy it.I just recently finished a factual history book on the Jews’ struggle to acquire their homeland and their efforts to get an American embassy in Jerusalem.I would like to comment again after watching the video,if you please.
ok,Jaqueline,I will meet you and Peter halfway,as it is true,many prophecies about Israel stated they would be God’s people to time indefinite.Romans ch.9 does indeed warn Gentiles not to take too harsh or proud a view that God began to favor them and no more offer exclusivity(wow!)to Jews as far as the heavenly Kingdom partakers.The weren’t forced out of the opportunity,mind you,just not favored.They still have the same chance all have at this time,to be accepted as a candidate for Sonship.What more do they want?Luke 11:29-32 says no sign will be given anyone more than the sign of Jonah.He refers to Ninevah,a wicked Enemy city that repented merely at the message Jonah preached-he had no miracles to bolster his prophecy of doom.But those wicked men and women repented.The “sign of Jonah” we know is the witness of the honest JEWISH disciples of Christ,who testified that he was Resurrected the third day after his crucifiction.In addition,though God did grant miraculous gifts to many 1st century apostles and disciples(all Jews,mind you),as powerful testimony that HIS FAVOR WAS NOW WITH CHRISTIANS. That is exactly the point I made in Book study, that if the bad acts done represented Christendom then they were going to be forgiven, or JW were acting badly and needed forgiveness. And if Christendom is to be forgiven then who is Babylon the Great, all (JW) doctrine was falling apart, the Either way we (JW) were in trouble. The elder asked me not to disagree with the “slave”. I never went back to book study until it appeared in the KH because of this issue with Israel. Studying the book of Daniel or revelation was not possible if we were not identifying who these Jews were. It made sense when I heard the first talk by Br.Rawson. Also I remember in the 1950’s, JW taught and believed in my area that it was the natural Jews. Thanks for thoughts Br. Humbleman.
John, I think if you identify the people, then you might be able to see, they won a war in 6 days with crude weapons. Tel Aviv and the airplane, they got everybody out without a death. Our country lost everybody in their attempt to rescue their people. There is only one (1) Jewish person in afghanistan. Instead of the society worrying about the generations, they should watch Israel. It also is a sign of the times. They must get all of the land, God promised them and it hasn’t happened so he must have more dealings with them. Before I knew about the BS still existing, we had a running joke about Israel still was getting some help from somewhere inspite of thew society saying the grafting in meant the lost of favor forever. In later years they seem to have forgotten about the trampling for 2500 yrs or so, although prior to 1960 they talked about it a lot. Christians have after this treatment?I am super-sympathetic to Jewish woes.I know how many died in Hitler’s Holocost.How many died in Russia and eastern European countries during and after WW2? It is estimated Stalin killed 55 million of his own Russian people immediately after WW2.How many Jews? Has anyone ever figured that out? John, this is not in direct answer to your questions, someone else will have to answer. I just want to say when we (JW) were studying the Isaiah book, my eyes became open. I kept reasoning in book study that if we (JW,GB,etc) were the jews spoken of here, then we had sinned against God. I said the Bible says we have not accepted Christ but that we “the spiritual Jews,(JW teaching) would acknowledge and accept Christ. I asked could these scriptures possibly appy to the natural Jews? You say “Premier spot”, that has to be taken up with God. He indeed trusted them with the scripture’s canon as we have it today. Isa. 43:10-12 says they are his witnesses as to what he could do, as he protected them many times and used them to produce his son.God made a promise to Abraham that his seed would be a blessing to all mankind. We know that Jesus fulfilled this in a real and abiding sense. He told Abraham that his seed would possess certain land. Abramham would have understood it to be his earthly children. If God goes back on his promise to Abraham or changes his promise because the people didn’t act right, then we can’t believe his promises to us. GOD can not lie. Taking hold of the skirt of a Jew, because we have heard that God is with you. In the Millenium the Bible says this will be the case. It does not knock us down a notch even as no one has been knocked down all these centuries by the Jewish people. Anti-Semitism is fueled by satan sometimes because he feels these people are in God’s pocket. HE MADE A PROMISE. My grandson said once, but grandmommy you promised. I had to follow thru, otherwise he would have no right to ever trust what I said. I am glad to finally understand how these scriptures are fulfilled because it bothered me so long. The society’s jargon just didn’t add up. Their being finally in the future at one ment with Jehovah after centuries will not diminish other humans at all. There just isn’t that many of them. John – Because you are not responding to any of the scriptural answers I have been providing to your challenges, I an inclined to stop dialoguing with you completely. However, for the sake of other readers who might be stumbled, I will respond once again to your challenges against natural Israel and your brothers, the Bible Students. Take note though that when an individual constantly comments on our website, dominating the discussion, they begin to control the message and we have told others in the past to cut back on the length and number of their comments so that the comments of others are not drowned out. In answer to your charges against our dear and loving Brother Ken Rawson, Bible Students have two approaches in reaching natural Israel. One is our efforts to preach Christ while at the same time recognizing all the wonderful promises to natural Israel. However this approach reaches the ears of very few Jews, as they are not ready to listen to a Christian message, especially since they assume that Hell and Trinity are probably a part of that message. So our second approach is to get the secular Jews to embrace their faith in Old Testaments scriptures. Once this is done, they are in a better position to consider Christ. But even if not, strengthening thier faith in Old Testament Scriptures are a big step in a better direction. These Old Testament scriptures are an equal part of Jehovah’s inspired Word, frequently quoted by the Jesus and the Apostles.
When the “double” ended, Jehovah tells us in Isa 40:1-2 – “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD’s hand double for all her sins.” Have a heart John. Let’s follow Jehovah’s advise and comfort Israel now that her period of punishment has ended.

John – Didn’t you hear the scriptures they quoted in the video and all the additional scriptures we quote on our website. Brother Rawson is supplementing the message of Christ with the message of returning to their faith and the scriptures which is a step in a better direction. Fortunately many of those Messianic Jews have not swallowed the missionaries message Hell, Trinity and Immortality of the Soul, though sadly, many have. We know from Zechariah 12, that Israel’s conversion will come after their return to the Land and fighting their enemies, not before. By increasing their faith in Jehovah, Bro. Ken is putting them in a better position to accept Christ, if not now, than in the future at the time of their national conversion.
You spoke of the slaughter of 10 million Jews. Actually it was 6 million in the holocast. Do you feel the holocast was applauded by Jehovah? Jer 16:15,16 speaks of Fishers (Zionism) & Hunters (Nazi Persecution). ). God permitted Nazi persecution to drive the Jews back to their land, but Satan attempted to thwart God’s plan by using this same persecution to exterminate the Jews (the earthly seed). Although God permitted this evil for a time, he finally intervened to prevent the Jewish extermination from continuing, by turning the war against Germany; thereby demonstrating that God’s intervention and care were necessary for the protection and preservation of the Jewish people. Every Jew who died in the Holocaust will come back to joy and happiness in the resurrection and with the realization of their need for a kingdom ruled by God, where they, along with all mankind, can be happy and safe.
Cheer up John. We should be happy that Jehovah is keeping His promise to Abraham to give Israel the land forever. Otherwise, how can we have confidence that Jehovah will keep his promises to us if he renigs on his promise to Abraham?
