In the Book of Exodus, God gave Moses instructions for building what the Bible calls “the Tabernacle of witness in the wilderness.” (Acts 7:44).  God Himself set this arrangement in place for a grand purpose.  This Tabernacle arrangement given to Israel holds valuable truths of importance to Christians.

The Apostle Paul makes several clear statements which teach that the Tabernacle arrangement was symbolic. We find one such concise declaration in Hebrews 9:11: “…Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect Tabernacle, not made with hands…”

On Saturday evening, May 12, former JW and Bethelite, and now a Bible Student Elder, David Stein led a round table discussion on this topic.  Joining him was Bible Student Elders Ric Cunningham and Harry Wildblood.  You can call into this conference call Saturday evening.  After the main discussion the caller were invited to participate with questions and comments.

ZENODotus – You need to call a phone number. Over the Internet, Skype allows you to make phone calls, buy they charge a nominal fee per minute. If you have a GMail Account (or create one for free), you can sign up for Google Voice and make free phone calls directly from your GMail Account.

do you need a book to follow along? if not when i call that number and dial 991337 do i have to talk or just listen

Teresa – You do NOT need a book, but the book linked will help to prepare your mind for the discussion and perhaps help you come up with thoughts or questions in advance. After you type in the pin # 991337, you do not have to talk. You can listen. As a matter of fact, the panel of elders will talk for about 1 1/2 hours, after which they will open up to the callers for questions and comments. You have the choice of remaining quiet and anonymous our participating.

You can just listen I think you have to *4 yourself so you won’t be heard, Teresa. It will ask you to say your name and it will announce it and the speakers knows another person has joined in. Take Care.
BTW: Who won the Yankee’s game you were watching on Wed. (:)
