Anointed Talk

Welcome all Anointed Jehovah’s Witnesses and those who would like to talk with you!

Anointed Talk is a place for the Anointed of Jehovah’s Witnesses to talk to each other and for others of us to get a chance to talk to you.  And why not?  We have been told that no one else is listening to you.  Is this true?   The The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11 says, “anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand…”  (See complete quote below).  Yet to what avail is this special insight?  Does the Governing Body care what the Anointed have to say?  Do they ask for the opinion and spiritual insight of the anointed?  Sadly, we are getting reports from Anointed JWs, indicating they are being disrespected, ridiculed and made fun of.  They tell us that they are even being discouraged from partaking of the memorial.  Is it true that the elders and others just don’t believe that those who claim they are anointed really are?  That they do not respect insights of those claiming to be anointed?  Are the anointed who express a different point of view labeled an Apostate?  Is what we are hearing true?  Is this the norm or just unusual examples coming our way?

Why doesn’t the Governing Body consult the anointed?  Why aren’t they interested in their opinion?  Why is the Watchtower writing department adding more writers that are not anointed?  Are the Anointed a perceived threat to the power structure that must be diminished?  After all, shouldn’t JWs being looking to the anointed for spiritual guidance as opposed to Elders, Circuit Overseers and District Overseers?  Is the JW power structure trying to minimize and belittle their influence?  Is this really all just about power and who is in control?

We are not trying to incite the Anointed to rise up and rebel and fight the system.  The Lord’s anointed are a humble and meek people.  Yet we understand that if anyone expresses a difference of opinion, whether anointed or not, they are in danger of being labeled an apostate.   So, how then can the anointed be in any position to provide spiritual insights.  If it is only to tell everyone else to follow the organization, then couldn’t any JW member do that?  So then of what value are the anointed in the JW Organization?  It only seems to make sense that elders and leaders in the JW organization would desire, in humility, to look to the anointed for spiritual guidance.

What do you think?  What is really going on.  Let us know what you think.  This is a place to talk.  We want to hear from everyone, but especially from the anointed ones, whether presently JWs or whether you have been driven out of the organization.  Please enlighten us and tell us the truth of what is happening.  Here you can talk to each other and help each other out.

Full quote:  “Daniel 12:4 states: “As for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” Much of what Daniel wrote was made secret and sealed up to human understanding for centuries. But what about today?

6 In this time of the end, many faithful Christians have ‘roved about’ in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible. The result? With Jehovah’s blessing on their efforts, true knowledge has become abundant. For instance, anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand that Jesus Christ became heavenly King in the year 1914. In keeping with the apostle’s words recorded at 2 Peter 1:19-21, such anointed ones and their loyal companions are ‘paying attention to the prophetic word’ and are absolutely certain that this is the time of the end.” – “The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11.

    Peter,
You are a prime example of the type men Jesus had to deal with. You are closed minded, and believe you know the scriptures as did the Pharisees. You demand all on this forum to disobey Gods command in, 1 John 4:1…“Beloved ones, do not believe every inspired expression, but test the expressions to see whether they originated with God, for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.”
You are fearful of things God shines light on in the Scriptures, that they may hurt the feelings of some, as do the powers of this world in their command that teachers of gods word be silent on same sex marriage, because Gods word would hurt their feelings.
The Bible was taken from the Scrolls, a truth you put aside. Where do you believe the Catholic Church got the words to build the Bible? Did they fall out of the air? You are blind to Gods truth, and nothing I say will be correct in your thinking…I kick the dust from my feet. You are the seed of Cain.

Domenic – Well thanks. That was a delightful response. LOL

It seems you would rather name call then answer questions.

You keep repeating that the Bible is taken from scrolls. We usually call them manuscripts. You provide no evidence, source or authority for your conclusions???

      • Jacqueline

Br. Peter at least I am off the hook. Now i know who the seed of Cain is. What a relief that is.

        Hello there Peter:

I talked briefly with Sis a few days ago Jacqueline and learned of the fun I missed with this guy. Looking over some of his posts I sussprct he is part of a growing Christian heresy called Gnosticism, which never died out and is enjoying a resurgence since the discovery of some of its ancient writings, such as those found at Nag Hamadi in Egypt.

They’ve grown enough that one fellow publishes a Bible study program with the Bible texts in Greek, English and Coptic wioth a planned exansion into Hebrew and Latin which has some pretty good resources available such as lexicons for the text. They also have the Nag Hamadi texts as well as some of the other Gnostic texts available for download and inclusion in the program, something I haven’t done as of this time.

The program is named after the 2nd century Gnostic Marcion, who is often credited with the gathering of the Pauline Epistles and the logo is unusual with its anti-nominal church symbology. I keep a current version on my computer for the Coptic language text and resources. Some of the views posted by Domenic strike me as Gnostic in nature.

Dupin – Thanks. I love your comments on this website. You are a great researcher and quite insightful.

The “guy,” Domenic, referred to other scrolls outside of the Bible and said the Bible text itself was corrupted. As far as I could see, he did not provide sources or evidence for this conclusion. Discussion was pointless since he did not accept the Bible as God’s inspired word. Without a common authority upon which to base conclusions, it is like a Muslim and Buddhist trying to arrive at a consensus on the afterlife. Also, Domenic bestowed upon me the honor as being identified as Cains evil seed. LOL. His doctrinal view on Ham’s seed was offensive and came across as racist, although he claimed not to be racist. Anyway, Dominic was quite a roller coaster ride. It seemed he wanted to create controversy and doubt. This was his way to help the JW related community??? He is the first to have received the distinction of publicly being banned from our FJW site.

    • Peter K. (admin)

Domenic – The jury has decided. Your application of the cursed seed of Ham being black people and your lack of sensitivity in response to my tough love reveals you to be an inflamatory and name calling influence which will no longer be tolerated. Domenic – You are hence forth banned from this website. If I had my way, when God’s kingdom comes you would be a servant in the home of a black family for 100 years or until you come to your senses. LOL. This is not disfellowship. You are just a drag and not a blessing on this site. Go find other people to drag down and beat up. You are done here. Best wishes for your spiritual recovery. Peter K.

To Jacqueline I have not been able to stop thinking about the experience you related of when your mother and yourself suffered needless segregation. Your mother maybe went there and in her minds eye pictured being welcomed – how devastating then to be confronted with more of the same.

I am sorry for all that you suffered.

Jah and Jesus have not been happy with their memorial for longer than I thought. I thought the rejection of anointed ones only affected new partakers post 35, clearly it affected black anointed ones right from the start.

It will all come out into the light, Jah will show his displeasure and they will stand corrected. He is a God of justice I do not believe he has let it go unpunished. The error has been brought to fruition, even today they put down increase in partakers to Europeans and forget about increases in Africa in 20th century.

A time of repentance is due.

    Jah Bless.

Hi anointed1, Nice to speak to you again. Br. Peter and some of the other brothers were monitoring the site. The 3 day convention was a blessing as we get the needed association. There was a new brother there that was a former JW and they showed slides and experiences from the Phillipines. Some of the JW there are associating with the BS.
Some commented on our conversation and enjoyed hearing about our experiences. The things I experienced has made me stronger and shaped my life. I have 3 sons and 6 brothers so they have always had to make sure they were in a diverse congregation and we did also having teenage boys. It was a discussion and some things have to be discussed and not always swept under the rug.
I like you let an operation of error go on the racial difficulties encountered in religions that should know better. Sin is sin in my book and all are covered by Christ.
This year because of one sick brother there was only two of us physically together along with the online and we were able to partake. I posted the connection on facebook for download and many were glad to get it so other JW also partook at home with just a few. Since it is a personal relationship with God there does not need to be a crowd.
I noticed you said you moved. I want to visit Europe this year or next if I can get my little sister to travel with me. London and Paris are at the top of my list. Typical american list. lol
BTW, I will run downstairs now and check on the pictures of the heavenly host in the african magazine. I will be back in a few. In Christ, Jacqueline
PS. We have persons that follow the post so I promised to look and they wait for the answer, so will go now.

anointed1 I checked magazine from maybe 20 different languages. Jesus was pictured in one as an olive colored with most of the bride olive colored. He didn’t have a beard. (1987-1988) This was a Spanish edition, other languages of this same edition had Jesus in black and white or shaded over without color. Various depictions of God is just a throne and light. The books probably would have more pictures and I only had 3 different years. We would play a game with the pidgin and Australian mag to try and read what they said and then the english version would be read and it would be fun to see how far off we were. I kept all my bound volumes because for legal work the actual book is needed not online as the words are changed and whole mag deleted from the online versions. Take Care Jacqueline.

      • Anointed1

Jacqueline just read your comment. You said other languages of this same edition had Jesus in black and white, do you mean Jesus was actually portrayed as black in his heavenly role as king? If so could you let me know the date of the magazine. Thanks

        • Jacqueline

Hi, no I mean the page where he sits with the heavenly host goes to white paper instead of color. Go to bound vol 1987 July 1st. The entire cover are all black race pg 16 then page 18. In the Nigerian Igbo language pg 18 Jesus looks strange, no beard. Pg 16 he with heavenly host is on a wine colored background so is the great crowd.
October 15,1987 pg 17 Swahili language (Cover center person is black) Angelic one could be any race as the background is bronze-orange. I think the books would be more rebealing.
Also I don’t have latest magazine in other languages. I think the society has grown in later years and the world is all one with the internet and all. I don’t really know if there is a different internet address for different countries. I left in the fall of 2009.
The insensitive attitude is not tolerated as much now and there is no New York Bethel anymore, all properties are sold. The new recreation type center and the retirement home will be their center hub now.
Since no one knows or can accurately depict what the heavenly host looks like it is best I feel not to make them any race but neutral.
Our study last night talked about the work of having to help bring together mankind. Those that were killed in the inquisition will have to face and forgive the torturers. But we are in training now and Jesus will equip and make us able to bring the many to righteousness as he also has been equipped by suffering as men do. Heb.2:17; Heb 4:15 Jacqueline

    To Hank

Also I live only about 45min north of London. In my old congregation a brother worked part time there and I think possibly through him we were privy to see a copy of African WT as London did a lot of printing for continent and other countries. Also an Asian family in the same congregation showed me a copy of a mag with their picture on front of it. So I guess I was made aware of these things where it may never have come up for others such as yourself.

You earlier quoted Heb 12 : 22-24 but not having my bible at hand I thought you were quoting Heb 10:24,25, apologies for any misunderstanding. I recently moved and my house is upside down. I have found, lost and only just found again, my bible.
