Anointed Talk is a place for the Anointed of Jehovah’s Witnesses to talk to each other and for others of us to get a chance to talk to you. And why not? We have been told that no one else is listening to you. Is this true? The The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11 says, “anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand…” (See complete quote below). Yet to what avail is this special insight? Does the Governing Body care what the Anointed have to say? Do they ask for the opinion and spiritual insight of the anointed? Sadly, we are getting reports from Anointed JWs, indicating they are being disrespected, ridiculed and made fun of. They tell us that they are even being discouraged from partaking of the memorial. Is it true that the elders and others just don’t believe that those who claim they are anointed really are? That they do not respect insights of those claiming to be anointed? Are the anointed who express a different point of view labeled an Apostate? Is what we are hearing true? Is this the norm or just unusual examples coming our way?
Why doesn’t the Governing Body consult the anointed? Why aren’t they interested in their opinion? Why is the Watchtower writing department adding more writers that are not anointed? Are the Anointed a perceived threat to the power structure that must be diminished? After all, shouldn’t JWs being looking to the anointed for spiritual guidance as opposed to Elders, Circuit Overseers and District Overseers? Is the JW power structure trying to minimize and belittle their influence? Is this really all just about power and who is in control?
We are not trying to incite the Anointed to rise up and rebel and fight the system. The Lord’s anointed are a humble and meek people. Yet we understand that if anyone expresses a difference of opinion, whether anointed or not, they are in danger of being labeled an apostate. So, how then can the anointed be in any position to provide spiritual insights. If it is only to tell everyone else to follow the organization, then couldn’t any JW member do that? So then of what value are the anointed in the JW Organization? It only seems to make sense that elders and leaders in the JW organization would desire, in humility, to look to the anointed for spiritual guidance.

Hello Jacqueline. I consider myself as one of the anointed, but I cannot make a claim to that position because it does not make a bit of difference to anyone except JW’s. So, why do I need the approval of man for what the Spirit has given me? I am 52 years old right now. I have been studying the bible and attending meetings at the kingdom hall faithfully since I was 14 years old. I was not compelled to study or attend meeting by my parents because I was living with alone with my father who is an Episcopalian minister. My sister, the eldest, introduced me to the Truth and had a Christian Sister, a mother figure, to teach me the Bible. I was Baptised by the time I was 22 years old mainly because, I believe, I did not have parents approve my baptism. From the time I was 29 I became inactive, until recently. As I see it, I may have left the organization, but I never abandoned Jahovah as my God. Just as King David left Israel and lived with the Philistines, but he likewise never abandoned Jahovah. I have always considered myself as an anointed, I have from a very early age had many insights to what I was learning. But, I was in a strange position that as young man with no parents or relatives attending the meetings with me, still an unbaptised publisher and bible student, nobody believed in anything I wanted to share with them from the Bible, even from the publications in the words quoted from in them. They likewise seem to not trust me. I never, in that time and after, when I got baptised, was ever entrusted to a position to serve the congregation. I ended-up marrying a Catholic, a Filipina, because, aside from the one girl from a Kingdom Hall in North Carolina, USA, with whom I was deeply in love with having rejected me; I spent many years looking for a mate within the Organization of JW. Especially while I was employed and had my own apartment, ready and able to start a family. But, I was always rejected or could not find anyone I liked. Maybe I should have been more patient, but a certain incident lead me to commit suicide, successfully, but miraculously rescued. After I recovered at the hospital, I was officially marked socially with a bad character. I felt there was no chance after that to advance in anyway in the Kingdom Hall, and absolutely no chance of becoming a Bethelite, to live as a true soldier of Christ.
“I have observed something else under the sun. The fastest runner doesn’t always win the race, and the strongest warrior doesn’t always win the battle. The wise sometimes go hungry, and the skillful are not necessarily wealthy. And those who are educated don’t always lead successful lives. It is all decided by chance, by being in the right place at the right time.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11 NLT)
So, it was a combination of 3 bad experiences that drove me away from the Organization of JW: lack of interest by the Elders, rejection of help by the Elders when I was homeless in NY, and rejection from a Sister I was in deeply in love with.
After my divorce, I ended-up living here in the Philippines trying to salvage whatever I have left of my plans and possessions. So, eventually I became active again as a JW. So after 40 years I still can not claim to be of the anointed. I have never served as an elder, any ministerial duties, as a pioneer, and I never even had conducted a normal Bible study. Now as an adult the members like the comments I contribute in the meetings, but still I cant’t pioneer because I am newly reinstated, and I still have no Bible studies to conduct, which by this time I really have a great deal insight I want to share and teach. However, I am very careful to share nothing of my insights with any JW.
It is not that I am beset with fear, but rather apathy.

Yes, I am one of those poor ones. Why would anyone listen to me? I have absolutely no authority to make statements as having any credible truth. And that is exactly how everybody treats me when I comment on anything from the Bible.

So, this is what I call ‘Babel-speak’: A cacophony of conflicting information seeking to establish the truth.
Therefore I believe ‘actions (demonstration) speaks (truth) louder than words.’
I suspect there is a sickness of human reasoning, the mind itself, like a fruit marred by an infection. Being human myself of course, this perception make me nauseous. In particular, I see the mentality of woman, children and of course men, as bruised, infected and rotten fruit with only some good fruit of varying quality.
Since the Devil is waging a war against the remnant of the anointed, then why are the ‘governing body’ in such a comfortable position in their ‘ivory (watch) tower’, while I’m here suffering, floundering in the misery of my humiliation? I have come to know the Devil is busy working overtime to ruin my life and stifle me, but I believe Jahovah has is own plans for me at a later time. However, I find it very difficult to pursue a course of disciple making, even though it is my obligation as one of the anointed, but my conscious just cannot accept offering someone to experience the pain, sorrow, heartache and loneliness that I had to live through my whole life as a JW. I do participate in field service, but merely as a formality.
What I have and want to offer is, that the power of God’s Word is able to provide for people’s basic needs of food, financial income, housing, transportation, fuel and even friends. These are not selfish, fleshly desires, these are things God has already promised us if we ‘seek first the Kingdom’. I am not talking about charity for the poor, but rather self-reliance. The Watchtower Society has already demonstrated this, but it has not been applied at the congregation level and families around the world.
This ‘Information Age’ provides us with that opportunity, of decentralized self-sufficiency, distributed cooperatively. I could and wanted to demonstrate that in my own life, but like I said, the Devil has been very busy ruining my life. I find myself with very little power to do anything substantial with any success, and now living here in the Philippines as an ex-pat refugee, illegal alien and a guest on my own land. I’m worried now about my mental state. I think I’m going to crack. And, I won’t know if happens, would I?
Don’t be too upset when you see the poor kicked around, and justice and right violated all over the place. Exploitation filters down from one petty official to another. There’s no end to it, and nothing can be done about it. But the good earth doesn’t cheat anyone—even a bad king is honestly served by a field. (Ecclesiastes 5:8, 9 MSG)

It’s best to stay in touch with both sides of an issue. A person who fears God deals responsibly with all of reality, not just a piece of it. (Ecclesiastes 7:18 MSG)
Mykel, As long as Jehovah recognizes you as anointed that is what really matters. I was very touched by your story. Do you know that there are hundreds of Bible Students in the Philippines?
Mykel, Hello and welcome also. I have learned a lot with age and associating with brothers that value the humanity of people over head knowledge. One point I have learned that is different than when I was in the organization is this: That there will be people with different experiences coming back in the resurrection and their will be with Christ persons on the body that have had those same experiences!.
I got the impression that anointed ones were the elite and teachers etc, but there has to be ones that have felt the pain of Adam’s sin so badly that they know what it is like to try and take your life.
There has to ones that have known rejection to understand those that have known that.
Your humility brings tears as you are opening your heart and sharing your experiences with us. They are life trials that only age can prepare you.
You have still in spite of your trials come thru with faith in God and Jesus.
You are right one does not have to go to the elders to talk about being anointed or called by God.
I always found this a strange thing that friends felt the need to prove to the elders their anointing and often flaunt such within the congregations as if they had special knowledge.
It is a witness thing I guess as I have never seen it here among the brothers. In Psalm David often felt like you. Many of God’s servants said”HIDE ME IN THE GRAVE” until your wrath passes then remember me. They had hit rock bottom, like you say you did. So in that regards you are like the prophets and men of old. Paul had a thorn that made him depressed and he wanted it removed, but God said his mercy was sufficient. Their experiences gives us comfort and hope.

Br. Mykel I am back home now. I think Br, Peter is pointing you in the right direction to the brothers in the Phillipines. You have deep understanding of the scripture. You have proposed some questions on here that even the BS elders had thought about and presented their answers. They were amazed and challenged and welcoming to your discussion.
Witnesses, normally will not recognize a person that thinks and ask questions, especially the elders and governing body. And therein I think lies the problem. You are working within the system of these men and not the system of Christ, In fact the governing body has taken the place of Christ and that is why it is difficult for the brothers to treat you in a Christlike manner.
You are a spiritual man and they are businessmen. you relate to the brothers spiritually and they relate on the mighty dollar. They have a lifestyle to keep up. If you are allowed to preach Jesus and the faithfulness of God in providing what we need, the brothers would soon realize they need to help the poor and sick among them instead of sending their tithes to the Ivory Castle called Bethel.
Mykel I don;t have the deep understanding that I have seen in your previous comments on this site but I do know simply that God is faithful and will help you.
Sometimes he is hindered because the person is in an unholy environ and place and the Spirit is hindered and can’t approach with help. It is probably trying to get to you.
The kingdom halls, the elders and all entering those buildings belong to the governing body. They say God has appointed them over those belongings and ALL witnesses accepted this. Those that wanted to stay under Jesus left or are in the process of getting out. Not touching the unclean thing. If you only know the joy, peace and clean feeling you will get when you totally separate.
The Bible Student brothers will help you in the Phillipines. I have that faith that they will.
The witnesses still in are not lost and they have not been called so as Br. Parkinson suggest often “do not call out the uncalled” It will do them more harm as many witnesses love and need their strict organization. Some have tried to work within the organization but it requires deception and infringement often and when found out distrust of any in the future bringing hope.
Hope is assurance that it will work out but the timetable of your release and help can in my opinion be thrown off by lingering in the city gates. Sometimes you have to flee to safety to get help.

Have you had a chance to follow the drama in Australia and the royal commission in dealing the JW’s and their 1,006 cases of child sex abuse without reporting a single one to authorities?
Yes Brett, it is awful. I reported a case directly to the AU. police in 2011. It resulted in the closure of a kingdom hall and finding there was a pedophile ring involving elders and other witness males.
Unthank, a molested male JW by an elder started this whole latest inquiry. We all donated money to help him fight for justice but the society had more money and he couldn’t go on.
Little did they know that his courage against all odds would bring other victims out.
I was contact about cases here and a show will air by fall or spring with the person I told them about. I don’t know any particulars yet as it is HUSH for now.
This is how I came to know this organization was dirty by dealing with my first pedophile case in 1987. I went to the police against the society’s will but the victim had turned eighteen and had to report it. She listened to the organization and wouldn’t.
20 elders and many regular pioneers were involved in that sex scandal. Here in my old congregation we had a ring in the area. It was covered up.
It is like wallowing in filthy mud after a bath to go back in association with that religion and it’s governing body. Most elders participate in the cover ups with the governing body.
Japan and other countries are starting their inquiries also.
This is a mess but justice is being served for victims. I in no way tell anyone now that I was EVER associated with the witnesses. A political person called me Sunday to see if I heard about it on American TV. She said she did.I got sick of hearing all the details of the abuse from victims and refused to listen years ago but referred them to lawyers. The governing body and the witnesses form of worship has proven to be worst in many ways than nominal churches.

Yes it is terrible what is taking place and what has in times past. I saw some of it myself but the brain washing makes you want to believe different when your in the middle of it. Or the excuse that “well those brothers handled it wrong” is the common excuse. But its crooked and nothing else could be said about it. I recently lost another long time friend who i had thought was not a conditional friend like all the rest when i brought it up. So glad me and my family as well as my brothers family escaped and i found the truth. Just my oldest brother, his wife and daught are there and unfortunately my oldest son who serves at Bethel Walkill. I hope to help him wake up soon when he comes home just cant dobit at such a long distance and him being in the epicenter.
Bret, my relatives are at Bethel. He would know “Chitty”, ask him sometime, he has been there over 40 years. The Catholic Church is fessing up to the fact that they messed up. A lawyer firm says the Headquarters of the witnesses is the ONLY one blaming the victim and acting HAUGHTY about this serious crime. That is why the nations are bringing them to their knees. It is reported that the “assistant” to the governing body made an announcement today or recently that the Bethel familiy is dedicated to the organization and they are not to side with anything they are hearing in Australia. They were told not to call family and tell them what is happening. The religious systems are being revealed, the tight control and bullying methods of shunning and disffellowshipping is being revealed also. Tele evangelizers were revealed and brought down now the nominal churches of Christendom (which i consider the witnesses a part of Christendom).
The thing that is disturbing is the governing body shows no remorse. They will pay huge fines rather than appear or produce records. They threatened me with DF if I didn’t burn my records of confessions and refuse to go to court for the victims. I advised them I would go if summoned and ot to threaten me over a phone line that I pay for. We were at odds for the next 20 years until I just walked out and gave up. The courts however can get them where it matters by jail time and empting their pockets. Rutherford was brought to his knees when they jailed him and his guys for sedition. They agred to stop printing and remove the seditious statements from their book. That is how they got out of jail. Japan and a few other countries are gearing up to do the same thing after AU. The whole world will see these rich men for what they are.
Mykel, dear brother, I wholeheartedly appreciate you relaying your life experiences and trials to us.
Approaching the conclusion of this system, we need each other. The things we experience crystallize us to withstand the things to come and sharing them with others enables them to be as well. And Satan definitely compounds his war wages by trying to isolate us, to discourage us, and make us permanently despondent. Besides what anyone has you think, you are a definitely a real solider of and in the Lord. The last thing the Adversary wants is any member of the remnant to be manifest overcomers..
However its only through the providence of our Heavenly Father that we are able to continue to endure much more than the horrors lived and living through. It is also by associating with brothers like you and others that we can benefit, encourage, sharpen and crystallize one another.
Altho my exact situation is different from yours (everyone has unique situations) many of your experiences are of which I have done and experienced myself, yes even in my young age. I am to be 22, I feel like 50 years has been compressed in 10, too much to testify. I am so tired beyond expression…
You gave me yet another perspective regarding being in the Organization and sharing insight as a Bible Student of which I will consider. I too was one that always considered myself anointed. After a while I though it reasonable to discuss it with some elders not to talk about the fact I was called but I desired spiritual guidance, edification and more direction. But unfortunately only one that actually gave me anything substantial unbeknownst to me at the time, was anointed. All the others just regurgitated what the Society says. He told me, “You are practically on your own when it comes to your spiritual food, you have to constantly make your calling and election sure to yourself, you have to be a serious Bible Student. How you do it is between you and your heavenly father, because that is your relationship.”
I know for a certainty that Jehovah pays close attention to you and looks at you in approval. Thank you for sharing, I am more inclined to share more of myself then I have…

First I wish you good health and quick recovery. I do not try to telling you “let dead buried dead”, as for the animals I too been to couple of funerals. Jacqueline there is the scripture saying “For no one does anything in secret when he seeks to be known publicly” I am not that person, Christ don it all, there is nothing to add. It would be nice to come to memorial to be understood, have a nice conversation with brothers but that is not what is about, we are aliens in this earth as individuals or as a group. As we were chosen individually by invisible force, we do not know one and other. As the organization is slowly passing away, we as individuals are saying to them on memorial night there is a live beyond organization, as they know we are not part of them. Jacqueline you are little bit behind, Christ already know who Saints are and as they are waiting for final sealing he is already gathering great crowed not in full scale just some as he need. See logic in it, as we were as a group in training century’s, so same it is with great crowed, some start earlier. Organization is saying all Saint will be at home before new system is starting, then how will Christ communicate with great crowed if all of us are at home and rest of them do not believe that Christ communicate with whom he chooses, only G.B? Christ been saying “Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so also the one who feeds on me will live because of me, than in case of great crowd, they will live because of congregation of Body of Christ as a group, not G.B.
Hi Jirka, so sorry to take so long to answer you. Thank you for the well wishes. I am on the mend, hopefully I will be ready to travel to the General convention. Br. Peter announced I needed someone to help me drive the eight hours and immediately got my good friend. So far things are looking up. I went back in hospital since I last posted with profuse bleeding. I asked for the volume expanders that the witnesses use because I lost fluid quickly and knew the platelets etc were still very thick. So in about 4 more days I can stop worrying about getting a cut with such watery blood.
Now to address your thoughts about the great crowd, I believe these articles have some thoughts on who and where they are. John was still having a heavenly look as he exclaimed that he saw a great multitude.

I believe that Jesus will destroy the systems not judge people at armageddon and that all nations will survive armageddon under his new rulership, billions will survive. What King kills all his subjects before he gives them the chance to bow before him?

I have no problem with ones going to the kingdom hall on Memorial night to try and teach what they have learned. But I would be naive to think any would listen. I for myself prefer a different approach. Let people worship in their buildings without me making a scene or knowing they are against my intrusion, leave them alone. Holy Spirit will call out the ones from among Babylon, which I consider the Governingbody to be a part of. In my opinion i need to watch myself carefully and preach and teach to persons that have a spiritual need, I don’t need to prove anything to them just be convinced myself. That is just my approach but I can understand if you feel strongly about going to Memorial at the kingdom hall. I go with my brothers. Each of us unfortunately has to be stuck in harlot teaching until we are able to free our self from it or to be pushed to it. Unfortunately it is essential part of our spiritual DNA, first we have to hurt the one we love most and then we will be able recognized the ransom in full sense. What I been try to say is this; if we live in old testament we will follow Jehovah and His prophets, if we live in Jesus time on the earth, we will follow him and first century G.B but as we’re living now and Kingdom of heavens is already established with the King on the thrown, there is no room for any other book unless it is the bible. In case of anointed Christians it is the anointing which is leading them not the bible, bible leading you to Kingdom and the king is already on the thrown. If J.W or any other follow G.B of modern days or any other man it is because Christ not has been reviled to them. Jacqueline is it the Satan who blind the eyes of unbelievers or Jehovah hardened their heart? What is surprises me, that you found the courage to go to kingdom hall for funeral of your brother but do not go to the hall on memorial night to showing them where you stand, that is our public stand!
Hi Jirka, hope you are okay. I went to the kingdom hall to support my family and to greet and support all the good people that had come to share an experience they had and to see old friends from my childhood. I believe in customs as they separate us from the animals.
I didn’t go there to preach or prove a point. Witnesses have a great knowledge on what happens at death. Even the speaker didn’t take this route as we were all believers.
I go to Memorial with my brothers here in Indiana. I don’t need to go to the kingdom hall to let them see me partake. It would mar the occasion for which they came. I am one that will not disrupt in any way a religious meeting. It is not my nature. I respect a person’s right to meet in peace.
It isn’t about me, it is about letting friends and relatives see by example for no close relations listen to their own.
I have been to that Kingdom hall when I visit that brother and most of the elders know I am a Bible student in that congregation and never had a problem with it.
My 2 brothers that are elders plus their family tree including in law side tried to create a ruckus but the elders overruled their hatred toward me and I never opened my mouth. So it helped them, not to have me making a scene. All other family stuck together and just ignored the dissenters and as long as I remained silent, it went well. It was stressful and I was physically sick and now I know why. My emotions and stress of losing a brother that stood up for me overpowered my system but in God’s grace, it made me seek medical care and I caught a serious illnesss hopefully in time. I will know this Wednesday after surgery.
So I take away a feeling of immense love from God as I believe he approved of my Peaceful conduct but allowed enough stress to force me to a doctor.

I believe Holy Spirit will help those that seek the truth about God within the organization of the Witnesses. Most of them are content in their belief and that is okay with me. Christ has already paid the price and he is calling out only the Saints and a great crowd will also emerge in a cleansed state. Then the whole world will get their desires fulfilled. Master comes to call on slaves; first he call J.W and says, follow me, but you will be disfellowshipped, your reputation will be by number 0, you will be complete outcast in your organization and men without hope in your family. Witness answer; you are demon who transfer himself to angel of light, take me many years to build my reputation in kingdom hall and you come to me with disfellowshipping? Next he calls on bible student and says same think to him. B student answer; can you give me couple of days, maybe pastor Russell make some homework on this and the answer to your question is lying in his book.
Finally he calls on man who not belongs to any group or organization on earth. Master explain the situation to him and is waiting for reply, man says lets go, as they are walking master explain the situation to him again. Jirka hello, I was a witness for 62years and experienced joy as a child and early teens. From 1968 the description of Christendom’s hell, place of torment would best describe it with small bouts of relief.
I believe it was a path I had to take, by God’s permission. I walked out with no disfellowshiping. It took me years while still in there to began to speak up and out. Finally I laid it at the foot of Jehovah (as I never knew Jesus). He needed to humble me and then only could I recognize him and be used by him.
I now don’t regret a minute of my suffering. I attended my brother funeral last Saturday in a Kingdom Hall and although under extreme pressure from elders in my family to get over 250 family members to shun me, I survived and was completely silent on religion matters and all went well.
In my case to shut up took me thru. Relative flocked to me because after all the hate I never said a word. I followed Christ in this regard. A huge elder meeting was convened because of the ranting of my former Bethelite and Missionary brother and another elder brother of mine.
The result was first They got to know of the Bible Students and this website (totally unexpected by my brothers) Second, the elders sent another brother of mine an elder to convey their decision on family letting me and others DF ones stay in their home and associating with me.
They said we don’t care, end of matter. Go in peace. This was over 30 elders from many congregations that met.
Perhaps one or two will get some info from this site by my brothers inadvertantly introducing them to the Bible Students.
So reputation destroying can work out as a blessing for many more. Only by trying to destroy some of the family did we all ban together and got much closer.
So I say follow the path and the invitation to endure these things, it is a TRaining Program. I have never been quiet for 5 days in my whole life while around over 200 relatives. (when I say quiet, nor speaking about issues, just love, concern and compassion). I encourage all to suffer the challenge to become more Christlike.

Humility; As anointed by God Jehovah through Christ Jesus I been chosen, trained and tested as individual for the congregation of body of Christ, which is actually Jerusalem above, so I can say that Christ is dealing with us on individual basis not by any group or organization. (My anointing is not for teaching or some great position in this system of thinks, just for the day of my releasing from my body.)

Russell did not build an organization. He built a book publishing and lecture service. His leadership inspired an association of free International Bible Students. Rutherford built an organization.

When I call you my mother and sister; was come to my mind scripture when they been saying to Jesus, your mother want talk to you his answer was these are my mother, these are my brothers, believe me I am not confused about my spiritual mother.
I been married as Jehovah’s boy for 14 years to typical society girl, so I can say if brothers and elders do believe that Christ is the King and he is in charge everything will be ok, but Christ is not in charge elders are in charge as they are under direction of G.B than the separation was eminent. I have been in many meetings with my wife but these are not been encouraging for me opposite I can say, try hard to understand, study with some brothers even with elders but as they found my views on the subjects that was the end of the story with J.W, my visit to the hall is once on memorial night. It is heard to partake in the hall; all young once have instructions from parents do not look back, elders remind publishes from platform some of us don’t understand and are misled by Satan and some servants are tactfully refusing passed the bread or vine to you. But do not worry it is my night and I will not give the phreaks the satisfaction. You are saying that spirit anointed Christians are humble people wrong, as you are in the war with Satan, you have to be strong with your views, stubborn, man with strong faith and endurance otherwise Satan will get you. Many people close to you are hart as the Satan is using them against you, they refusing to believe that Satan can play them like Yo-yo as they are regular in the meetings, brothers this is the cup we have to drink. On my personal experience I and the Satan do not need introduction all my live he pull rugs under my feet, whatever I try to build he destroy, he make me understand the word of Paul “when I’m week I am strong and the meaning of keep your eye simple. Christ on earth been on front line till death refusing kingship from man, what about man today; every one want to be elder man in charge, G.B not seen on frontline hiding behind walls looking to the bible waiting for Christ to jump out to tell them how good they are as the rest of them tickle their ears, what a organization.
I do not know too much of B.S theirs publications from around 1926 and some later one as early J.W pre G.B are very good food for me as anointed.
