Anointed Talk

Welcome all Anointed Jehovah’s Witnesses and those who would like to talk with you!

Anointed Talk is a place for the Anointed of Jehovah’s Witnesses to talk to each other and for others of us to get a chance to talk to you.  And why not?  We have been told that no one else is listening to you.  Is this true?   The The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11 says, “anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand…”  (See complete quote below).  Yet to what avail is this special insight?  Does the Governing Body care what the Anointed have to say?  Do they ask for the opinion and spiritual insight of the anointed?  Sadly, we are getting reports from Anointed JWs, indicating they are being disrespected, ridiculed and made fun of.  They tell us that they are even being discouraged from partaking of the memorial.  Is it true that the elders and others just don’t believe that those who claim they are anointed really are?  That they do not respect insights of those claiming to be anointed?  Are the anointed who express a different point of view labeled an Apostate?  Is what we are hearing true?  Is this the norm or just unusual examples coming our way?

Why doesn’t the Governing Body consult the anointed?  Why aren’t they interested in their opinion?  Why is the Watchtower writing department adding more writers that are not anointed?  Are the Anointed a perceived threat to the power structure that must be diminished?  After all, shouldn’t JWs being looking to the anointed for spiritual guidance as opposed to Elders, Circuit Overseers and District Overseers?  Is the JW power structure trying to minimize and belittle their influence?  Is this really all just about power and who is in control?

We are not trying to incite the Anointed to rise up and rebel and fight the system.  The Lord’s anointed are a humble and meek people.  Yet we understand that if anyone expresses a difference of opinion, whether anointed or not, they are in danger of being labeled an apostate.   So, how then can the anointed be in any position to provide spiritual insights.  If it is only to tell everyone else to follow the organization, then couldn’t any JW member do that?  So then of what value are the anointed in the JW Organization?  It only seems to make sense that elders and leaders in the JW organization would desire, in humility, to look to the anointed for spiritual guidance.

What do you think?  What is really going on.  Let us know what you think.  This is a place to talk.  We want to hear from everyone, but especially from the anointed ones, whether presently JWs or whether you have been driven out of the organization.  Please enlighten us and tell us the truth of what is happening.  Here you can talk to each other and help each other out.

Full quote:  “Daniel 12:4 states: “As for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” Much of what Daniel wrote was made secret and sealed up to human understanding for centuries. But what about today?

6 In this time of the end, many faithful Christians have ‘roved about’ in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible. The result? With Jehovah’s blessing on their efforts, true knowledge has become abundant. For instance, anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand that Jesus Christ became heavenly King in the year 1914. In keeping with the apostle’s words recorded at 2 Peter 1:19-21, such anointed ones and their loyal companions are ‘paying attention to the prophetic word’ and are absolutely certain that this is the time of the end.” – “The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11.

Brother Peter, thank you and my love to all the Bible Students.I am continuing my studies and examination of weighty study material (including ‘The Time is at Hand’),so I hope we can still be friends even tho I disagree with much of what B.R. taught.I recently perused some outlines of the 7th volume of Studies in the Scriptures and immediately realized why the Bible Students (tho under Rutherford’s Presidency)were forcibly stopped from preaching and their hierarchy jailed in the Atlanta penitentiary. The book( of which some were sold or passed out at the church doors),VEHEMENTLY stated that God was going to destroy the churches the very next year, and anyone supporting them!Oh very good move, that! It reminded me of the tract we Jehovah’s Witnesses distributed in 1975’Kingdom News #17′,entitled ‘What Has Religion Done for Mankind?'(WB&TS).I remember we were literally running house to house practically shoving the tract down people’s throats, and told more or less that this probably would be the last opportunity for these people to “learn the truth” because Armageddon was imminent! We were instructed to just say,”This important message is being distributed worldwide. This is your copy, please read it!”, as we held the tract out to them and then said no more till they took it from our hand. Then as soon as they took the tract,we spun around and FLEW to the next door, like that house was on fire!Because this tract too said the same thing,God was going to destroy the churches and all their members cause they were all wicked;and that all immediately ahead. This too was fanatical religious error and behavior and no wonder Witnesses are despised today.I know that many of the Bible students alive in 1917 who participated in that distribution of the ‘Finished Mystery’ book began to have serious doubts about their leadership and many began to exit that organization and I have since learned that the majority of the Bible Students favored a more rational viewpoint toward religion as did Bro. Russell,I think, although the publishers of that book claimed they collated his notes and pieced together the so called ‘7th Volume of Studies in the Scriptures’ from them. From my reading of Russell’s teachings it was clear to me he states that the anointed brothers of Christ are scattered all thru various churches and creeds of Christianity, and I personally agree with him on this point, having been to many diverse churches over the last 5 years and seeing people’s sincere devotion and the spirit’s fruitage in their speech and actions.Certainly among the Jehovah’s Witnesses I failed to see a “spiritual Paradise”,as their churches(yes that’s what they are, call them Kingdom Halls if u will)are also rife with all the sins of fallen men same as any church. I will safely say that all the churches and Kingdom Halls I ever attended seemed to exude the same Christian spirit of a striving to read God’s word and apply it in their life.I saw no anti-christs in any service I ever attended.Even the Mormon tabernacle meeting I really enjoyed, and accepted communion bread and grape juice to honor faith in the son.Don’t get me wrong, tho because I know Jehovah wants me to worship him in truth and is jealous over his son’s bride. But I am learning to be more patient and tolerant with religious ignorance.Yet on the other hand,I like to play hardball with my anointed brothers who are well grounded in scripture and have the anointing. We should be able to get serious in stating our case for believing a certain way.And then I guess leave the other guy his statement and graciously let him or her have the last word. The apostle Peter at Pentecost said Jehovah joined in with His power to add strength to the witness of his son’s ministry and validated his death with the outpouring of holy spirit.(speaking in tongues and miraculous gifts given). He says this was in fulfillment of Joel’s prophesy concerning the last days.I believe we’ll also see this same thing occur as we get into the end deeper. This is going to unify Christians as nothing else has since the first century. One last point I’d like to make.I have the anointing from above too and Peter K(admin.) invited ex J.W.s to get some moral support from the Bible Students instead of being pronounced mentally ill as the J.W.s did me(why I resigned). But Bro. Peter, why do I feel like since we’ve started having these discussions that none of my understanding of scripture had any validity or any weight, and I was always being directed to an explanation from Charles Russell? Isn’t it true that not all the Bible students believe all his teachings are true? Even Russell himself in his forward to ‘The Time is at Hand'(vol. 2)admitted his HUGE mistakes on 1914 Gentile Time prophecies, offering apologies.(something I’ve yet to see in any issue of Watchtower) I personally feel I’m well beyond describing myself merely as a Bible student. As if I’m a beginner in the whole Christian process;a 3rd or 4th grader, say in the school of Bible Learning. Most of my nearly 60 years of life I’ve known the basic doctrine of the truth, having learned it at the knees of my anointed mother who was also shunned by Witnesses I might add.I have shared in missionary work, been mocked at school growing up,at work, door to door dragging 5 kids and a wife thru cold and heat over 30 years.I decided the Witnesses were very wrong so now they turned on me, so I resigned from them and now my entire family has cast me off and my wife turned away.I feel like Paul in having to state my life’s course here as having been very busy in the work of the Lord.Yet I feel like all I’ve been getting here is a condescending nod toward my efforts and views, and a feeling like I should be coached along to hopefully see the REAL truth in time. Are you really interested in the anointed as you set forth on this site ,or do you think me and others aren’t really anointed by Jehovah, but you can straighten us out. Please post this,Peter, there is a good chance we can come to love and unity here. But it has to be a 2 way street here for this to work,as I see the Bible Student’s belief at this stage are more or less Russell’s teachings, and as I’ve stated before, like many of the Bible Students themselves,I disagree with much of brother Russell’s teaching;but I have no doubt about his anointing but of the rating he’s receiving by many B.S.s as THE PROPHET or Faithful Slave for understanding scripture in the last days.If you seriously doubt you can glean any truth from any other anointed brothers or sisters inside or out of Bible Students, then communication as far as a sharing of knowledge goes stops. As Paul and others would go up to Jerusalem to hammer out disputes over teachings,I believe in my anointing that strongly, that I should be able to come to Chicago and receive a hearing ear when discussing these matters with my anointed bros. and sisters there.I certainly have Jehovah’s Spirit just like Paul.I feel it is the most important thing to do at this time for the anointed everywhere to unite and have an interchange of encouragement, and learn from each other and have enough faith and respect for each other to believe that Jehovah might just be using some of us at this late date to trim the wick of the lamp of truth to shed a brighter understanding.Or do you feel like only the Bible Student’s views are the truth? This is my heartfelt end question to you and all I’ve said is not to say I am the inspired Prophet. But I know enough scripture to intelligently bolster my anointing and my faith, and Jehovah and Jesus’ faith in me for giving me this anointing in the first place.Sorry if I appear haughty about this to some, but Jehovah gave me this gift and I’ll be glad to witness about this till I expire.Joseph’s brothers hated him, too, and if you feel envy, are jealous, or any way despise me for my opportunity for the great call to heaven,I’m sorry, you will have to deal with those feelings on your own,you out there with that problem.I have received that attitude all my life from one source or another;I’m used to it.Anyway, let me know ,Peter,I really enjoyed talking to you.Sadly I’m working on Wednesday nights so I can’t make the call-in study.I did put a lengthy letter in the mail to you today. Please try to see the explanations from my viewpoint. Again, may the Lord Jesus’ will be done in these matters discussed. Your brother in Christ,John Stoutenburg.

John I just want to say Hi. I am arriving home and must read all the comments. So far, you are bringing back memories from the old days. Take care my brother

John – I am glad we can continue to be friends. I agree that a loving Christian spirit is an important part of congregation life. We are sorry if you thought your opinions were not respected. Actaully most of us appreciated much of what you said, but sometimes when we have disagreements, we expalin why and provide the scriptural reasoning. Yes, I do feel Russell was helped by to Lord to help us understand, but I also appreicate that the Bible is our authority and where we need to go to prove what we believe. Have you found any particular individual or book to be more helpful than anything Bible Students are reading? I would be interested in considering it. I hope to respond further to your thoughtful email, later this week. God bless you. Keep in touch. We wish you the best and all Jehovah’s blessing.

Dear Tulsigirl, I’m sorry that I offended anyone over my arguments about doctrinal matters.I admit I,m probably the one who was debating the points I felt were critical(Armageddon a judgement day in particular). The reason I changed my viewpoint about the prevailing view of B.S.s on this was because I have acquired the main books from Bro. Russell and read thru them to the point where I saw what he was getting at in the BIG PICTURE.This is what took awhile to discuss with Peter(admin.) and wallow around in my mouth to see if it was scriptural or not.I firmly believe the Holy Spirit will help me with Scriptural understanding on whether we should be preaching the Good News at this time along with a warning to the wicked about Jehovah’s warnings concerning serious matters as sexual perversions and crimes of notoriety(I Corinthians 6;9).I do also feel a keen responsibility to keep on teaching the truth about sin, repentance, the Kingdom, ransom,Jehovah’s identity, condition of the dead, etc. I will continue in my door to door work, church ministry, internet, and anything else I can use to witness to scriptural truth, but I surely don’t see my views as a radical departure from the truth.I’m trying to veer closer and closer into it.Above all ,I guess the scripture at Matt. 24:14 continues to pull me and move me.But I Do Not believe J.W.s have a handle on the destiny of mankind accurately either. I am confident that Jesus is going to provide a witness before the END to help Christians sort out what is Bible truth and become more unified.( Acts 2:17-21)also Luke 21:25-28).With me the truth about these doctrinal matters was of prime consideration,Sharon, otherwise I would have stayed a Witness and would still have a whole bunch of people around me (including my immediate relatives). But I,m on a mission to get it right, and I’m not stopping here.Jah’s blessing be with you all.

John – You are in our prayers and we wish you the best with door to door ministry. I think most of us enjoyed your thoughts and the exchange of ideas. Yes, personally I do think that Jehovah is so wise and powerful that he knows the experiences that will be needed to change even the most wicked of people, although he will not violate free will. Although the wicked will receive disciplinary punishments in the kingdom, it will be for the purpose of reforming them.

Ezek 16:55, 61,62 – Sodom and her daughters, return to their former state NKJV
Isa 60:14 –all those who despised you will bow themselves at the souls of your feet; And they will call you the city of the LORD. The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. – NASV
Rev 3:9 – I will cause those of the synagogue of Satan…to come and bow down at your feet”

I guess you’ve either changed your mind or your temper got the best of you.

I’m going to say this, John, what you call “debate” I call discussion. When you say that the discussions keep going to Armageddon, I have felt that you are the main person who keeps going to that topic. I am ready to discuss the question and it has nothing to do with Armageddon. But seems that you always bring it up or the second death or the judgment period. But it’s not usually on topic. I think it’s you who changes it.

I’m really hurt over this. I’m taking it very personally. Sounds to me that you got involved with us because you wanted us to believe EXACTLY as you do. Good luck with that anywhere, Christendom, Nominal Churches, Jews, Muslims!!!! Not gonna happen. No one anywhere believes every little thing the same that is presented in the bible. That is the VERY reason I have come to love the Bible Students. NEVER have I been made to feel that my beliefs, though maybe different, are reason for them to stay away from me. Jehovah’s Witnesses NEVER debated. We were told what to believe by books and Elders. If we varied, we could be disfellowshiped. That is not a “debate.” The Bible Students are non-judgmental, open to DISCUSSION and the most loving people I have had the pleasure to be with.

We NEVER tried, implied or wanted you to believe EXACTLY the same as any of us! I do wish you the VERY BEST. I hope and pray that GOD blesses your efforts to convert. But don’t be too disappointed when you do NOT find anyone to believe every little belief you have.

I certainly haven’t had, nor detected any pride and hurt feelings in our discussions of scripture. I have been blessed through our discussions. We have stimulated one another to study and be better able to discern the truth, as Peter admonishes us, “but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence”–1 Peter 3:15. The key is in his qualifying statement–with gentleness and reverence. None of us should feel hurt nor slighted when others disagree. When dealing with prophecy (especially about the future!) there is always an “on the other hand.” Our goal in discussion of these truths should be to help us to be a better example of believers in a dark world. Jehovah tells us through the prophet Isaiah (1:18), “Come now, and let us reason together.” This is the purpose of group study–to share our thoughts and reason on the scriptures together. Each point of view should be greeted with respect, kindness and reverence. Paul tells us in Romans 14:5 “One person regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.” No one should have hurt feelings if others do not see things the same way they do. In another letter Paul tells us, “Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is right.”–1 Thessalonians 5:21. Here is another purpose of our group studies–to share thoughts to determine whether we are thinking correctly or whether there is another point of view on a particular subject. It is not Jehovah’s purpose that all of us should think exactly alike. But He does want us to respect one another, and to present our own views with gentleness and reverence. Ultimately, we all share a common view that we are living in the last days, when soon the time of trouble will shake our present world and bring to end the rule of evil. We all share a common view that it is God’s ultimate purpose is to bring a kingdom of blessing here on earth where all will learn of Jehovah and His truth. Michah 4:1-4 includes this in his vision, “Let us go up to the mountain (kingdom) of the Lord, and he will teach us his ways.” We pray for that day in the Lord’s prayer, and we earnestly look forward to the time when sin, evil and death are no more. Until that day Peter tells us “So we have the prophetic word made more sure, to which you do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts”–2 Peter 1:19. Our goal is to be a better witness to the world through our own lives, and to have the love of Jehovah in our hearts for one another. I pray that we can continue to study with that purpose in mind.

It’s been awhile since I posted comments, and I’d like to say a few words. I enjoy fellowshipping with Christians of diverse denominations.I have recently been attending Sunday school meetings of local Baptist churches with a view to encouraging and INSTRUCTING anyone who may have a real love for the Word and can possibly see some deeper truths.Make no mistake that I am NOT eagerly searching these church meetings to learn another understanding of Christianity, as I don’t believe in the Trinity doctrine,Hellfire and torment,or immortality of the soul, the way Baptists believe. What I do find is a consistent pattern; serious Bible readers, applying Bible principles to their life and decision making processes. When an appropriate time comes I comment upon whatever is being discussed and try to teach what I feel is a more truthful explanation of scripture and when I can I try to introduce the more important truths. The Sunday School part is the only place you can do this so I concentrate on just this part of the service. This avenue of ministering seems to be a better way of targeting people with a spiritual appetite than going door to door searching( which I also do).I get so many positive responses and invitations to return that I feel guilty when I change churches after a few visits. The question now arises, how can Christians find unity and share love for each other even tho there are glaring differences in their beliefs? The studies I have with this group at this site,(Bible Students) have also shown a great difference in interpretation of last day prophecies,Book of Revelation, eternal destiny(heaven or earthly),and lately considerable talk about Armageddon and the life or death details and even if it is even a judgement period or not.Sometimes it can turn into quite a debate, mostly I think because these are cherished beliefs that most people take with them clear to their graves, and how can we easily overturn these? We seem to be able to justify our answers by several scriptures and sound reasoning,so a battle of wills results, and pride and hurt feelings always results the LONGER the debate continues.Since I was formerly a J.W.s (40 years),I have more than had my fill of this unproductive practice.I think I would like to draw up a very simple scriptural guidebook,a primer, beginner’s booklet, that would help beginning Christian wannabe’s or children of Christians toward baptism and the Christian walk of life.Keep it simple as I could, while still teaching the important truths and even the acquisition of the Kingdom hope and the Holy Spirit.I feel that many divisions are occurring today over future events that at this time cannot be ascertained with 100% certainty.Since I left the J.W. religion 4 years ago I have been much happier in my evangelizing as far as having pleasant, upbuilding, encouraging associations inside or outside of churches. The debating, that is what really depresses everyone don’t ya’ll agree? I am more than ready to leave this aspect of evangelizing(debate) behind and seek more peaceful, cooperative, gracious avenues of ministering the word of Christ inside and out of Christendom proper. Does anyone have a witness to this?

John, hello and how are you today?
I have read and reread your post and can appreciate some of your points. Jeremiah 23:2 although fulfilled in Israel, I feel has fulfillment on Jehovah’s people today.”Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasturage!” is the utterance of Jehovah. Notice in verse three it shows that Jehovah will gather his sheep back together. So the principle here is that all is not lost. Many Christians think and feel they must convert the world now, so it frustrates them when people don’t see it their way. But notice exactly what Jesus said at Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a testimony unto all the nations; and then shall the end have come” There will be an end to this witness or testimony work after Jehovah is satisfied that nations know about Jesus. Nowhere does it talk about conversion of the whole world. Matt 28:19,20 says that some will be converted and become disciples and proclaimers of the kingdom and what it will do. 20 “teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” So there will be persons that will respond, but if some don’t, at least they will have a reference when Armageddon starts and sort of know what might be happenning. One of the problems that I feel is some religious organizations and persons try to force the issue of acceptance of one idea. While this is not about the JW organization, but that is what I found hard to accept Dogma. John we can some time be in total agreement with each other. How? We can agree to disagree. In other words let Christians develop thinking ability. 2Pet.3:1 “This is now, beloved, the second epistle that I write unto you; and in both of them I stir up your sincere mind by putting you in remembrance 2 that ye should remember the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and the commandment of the Lord and Saviour through your apostles:” That is what I am experiencing on a personal level with the Bible Students. I can actually read a scripture and understand it. I don’t have to go and see what a book or magazine has written on it. By discussions on our Wednesday night study, I am helped from the other comments to draw some conclusions.
John you mention our seemingly endless discussions about ARMAGEDDON. You are right, we seem to get on that subject at least once during the study, you ever wonder why? John AMAGEDDON IS THE JEHOVAH WITNESSES BURNING HELLFIRE! It is the way we have been kept in bondage and total subjection to the watchtower organization. MY CHILDREN are in mortal fear that I will die at armageddon because of the way the witnesses portray Jehovah and Jesus. They have moved our minds away from what the Bible really says about Armageddon, It will indeed be a fearsome day, but afterward peace for all mankind. We must not add nor take away from what is said and we must put judgement day scriptures in judgement day, the Milleniun. Even Jehovah witnesses now admit that judgement day is the 1,000 yr. reign in which Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats.
I wish you the best in your ministry with the churches, perhaps one will listen and if so it would be successful. I personally as a part of the Wed. study appreciate the strong scripture support that we are allowed to give. The watchtower does not allow for the bringing in of scripture, they have to finish the lesson. I remember when the JW was just like the BS and I knew the Bible then. Now the freedom afforded in the BS is allowing me on a personal level to gain back the use of the Bible as a sword! It does John, take some getting used too. All of us have had our moments until we adjusted to this speaking without being judged or looked at for a different viewpoint. I am still trying to break my mind free from enslavement to Doctrine and Dogma. I don’t think the brothers or sisters are debating, in fact some of us talk afterward and are so glad to have heard the different views and we draw almost the same conclusion about Armageddon that it is as Rev. 16:16 says no more, and 2Peter 3:3-18 says, no more.
I am so sorry if there was pride and hurt feelings experienced by you, we were not aware. I would like to say I am sorry if I hurt you in any way. And ask if you can forgive me? John I am re-learning so much, I appreciate Br. Len taking time out of his busy schedule and away from his family to help us learn to reason again. We will miss you, but go for the ministry that have been given to you, and Godspeed! In Christian love. Jacqueline

Well, I’d like to thank all the friends who supported me through this dog-trauma. Of course I’ll never stop looking for Roy, I have to move on. There are still occasional phone calls of sightings, for I passed out 200+ flyers in the neighborhoods where he was sighted( a reward is offered). So, we’ll see. I have been doing a lot of studying on anointed kingdom heirs and the role to be played in the 1000 year period and possibly beyond. Maybe others who are J.W.s out there would enjoy the booklet”God’s Grand Plan of the Ages”,which is published by Chicago Bile Students,(1-800-463-7752to order). There I found many understanding similar,to my way of thinking, about the New Creation’s destiny/purpose.Especially you will enjoy the discussions about Ephesians ch.1:4 where it states,”…he chose us in union with him [Christ] before the founding of the world”. This I was very interested in as a Witness because I never did accept the teaching put forth by WTBTS that the Kingdom and ransom of Christ was an emergency repair patch to save mankind in response to Satan’s interference.I also didn’t harbor a huge animosity toward our Father Adam and Mother,Eve because of their choice to try”Door #2″,so to speak.Although we have greatly suffered due to what they did,we have learned a lot about “Good and Evil” that we would never have known ,had we not taken this path. Now we have the hope of this new superhuman race, being one with the Father and our Lord, learning at their feet in Heaven and thru the universe, and bringing mankind thru to a restored( yet wiser thru-suffering) condition of everlasting life, ultimately ridding the earth of not only terribly wicked ,murderous, selfish people, and outside beings(angelic or any or otherwise) who may pop up to cause this kind of mayhem at any future time. This” bought through suffering” wisdom according to James 1:2-5 is the very best kind and is of much greater value than just accepting someone’s(although in this case it was God’s)word for it.Now we do know “good and evil” intimately, like Jah and Jesus do.Our love is much deeper, our forgiveness much sweeter, our hatred toward wickedness and sin much keener, and we won’t be so naive ever again if and when(and I’m sure down thru eternity somewhere someone will throw it at us again),we get clobbered with temptation or questioned about the veracity and true love of God and our Lord. I hope you readers can look further into these views of the Bible Students and enjoy studying with them as I’m doing. We have a small group studying @ 7:00 central over the phone out of this study aid mentioned above. Many ex.-J,W.s are at last getting some better answers AND treatment when asking their serious Bible questions. They are extremely patient with me and I can say that’s not easy, cause I sometimes have a very hot temper and strong opinion of my own interpretation. But,I have to safeguard what I believe, because I am really treasuring being able to study and let the Holy Spirit teach me thru the scriptures and my mind the meaning to these ultra important Kingdom truths. Please join us in our search.

Hello all and thankyou for the prayers;they are working.Saturday a.m. I had a Deputy Sheriff call on the people who were suspected of holding Roy.They wouldn’t answer the door but he looked around at the out-pens at all the poor dogs they had penned; but no Roy.I thanked him and went home, got a 4’by8′ board and painted a big picture of Roy’s sad eyed face with “Lost Dog”;and reward info.,etc. That afternoon I went down on the busy highway next to their house;parked my pickup on the side of the road and propped this big sign up against the truck. Many saw it as they were driving home from work and one close neighbor stopped and talked for awhile and said he’d seen the dog ,too a few days before.Well one of the occupants(suspected)drove by and leered at me with a sneer and pulled in but didn’t speak but the woman of the house came in and I asked her if she’d seen Roy since Id talked to her yesterday and she was very nice but said no but she’d call if she did.So I left thinking I would give them the benefit of the doubt.Next day(Sunday) I had 3 calls on my phone of sightings of dog and two of a dog barking out behind their house early that morn or night before.I checked them out yesterday and this morning;no Roy but I have seen his tracks in these locations(Boxer dogs have distinct paw tracks;large front paw)so I know Roy is still alive and at least now running free.I’m sure whomever turned him loose because of all the pressure I poured on the last 5 days.I will continue my search but I’m not frantic now that I know he’s free. Thanks for support everyone and for calling me.Right now my heart is much relieved thanks to you all and the Spirit.Hope to post good news later.

John – As you know, the Bible speaks in the Old Testament about having compassion for animals. Jehovah could not have created a truer friend than out faithful dogs. They will always forgive us and adore us when no one else will. I hope you find Roy soon.

Because I was excited to be talking about these cherished feelings I have about my hope,I’m sure I probably came off as a conceited or egotistical creep. So I want to explain something, and maybe this will be my last entry. What you have read is my very first comments on the internet,so I’m pretty excited about it.I have lost ALL my former friends due to checking out of J.W.s,so I was hoping to talk to someone about these things that may understand where I’m coming from.My conversion was a result of MY STUDIES and Jehovah’s Spirit;I did not consult any religious aid other than the Scriptures.I also shared some of my most intimate experiences about my worship and feelings.Maybe that’s not appropriate in a world that hides any religious feelings in shame but will bare their bodies or sell their honesty on some reality show to win a .million bucks.I just lost one of the best friends I ever had in my life;a boxer dog;Roy.I spent 3 days going door to door till long after dark;but he may have been taken by dog fighters;this particular neighborhood has told me of at least 2 places suspected in it.The one witness swore they have my dog and begged me last nite to go to the sheriff’s dept.He came and knocked on the door but no one answered.at least he inspected all the outdoor cages of pitiful and diseased animals;no Roy.They have a boxer running around lose with hundreds of scars from fights. My imagination won’t let me rest. It’s all about love my friends. This dog I got from a young man that only teased and boxed the dog,was impatient, and unkindly thru the puppy months. He didn’t understand about love at all until I began to love on him and cook meals and take him swimming and for country rides in my pick-up and of course sleeping with me in my bed on winter nites in my bosom with my arms around him.I tell you;he had such love for me after 2 years that when i would pet his head with both my hands he would shudder and sigh;his love OVERFLOWING from his heart.I get so mad when so called “Bible Experts” say animals don’t express or feel love! We get afraid to say things about love or intimacy with God on this media because people may take a shot at us with an attitude that shows they’ve spent a lot of time being rude cause they could get away with it.But anytime we see these slurs against feelings of love or a connection to God with intimacy like a loving son or daughter(anointing),it’s sad because they,re in danger of losing love altogether;something that my poor little boxer son will experience possibly like many stray dogs when humans throw them to face seasoned pit bulls in their final moments of life.So yes we live in a world where people act worse and show little to no love but delight to tear people and animals apart.Yet we see animals receiving and giving love at times when our closest relatives cast us to the pit.So I guess progress is being made,eh?I go again in the morning to search for Roy.But I feel inside it’s already too late. The whole community knows I,m looking for him.I have a feeling he’s been disposed of.It does break one’s heart.

John, I am reading your travails, ohmy!!! I hope you find your dog!! They are more loyal than humans sometimes. I feel your pain thru your words, my heart goes out to you. I make everything a matter of prayer, so pray that if it can be, that your dog is found alive. But if not, pray for peace and calmness to come to you as you grieve.
No, you do not come off as a “creep” as you talk about your experience. I enjoy reading. Sometimes I can’t reply because of the place I may be staying but I can read it on my phone. Please take care and you are in my prayers as you grieve the loss of a dear friend.
      In Him Who Comforts, Jacqueline
