Anointed Talk

Welcome all Anointed Jehovah’s Witnesses and those who would like to talk with you!

Anointed Talk is a place for the Anointed of Jehovah’s Witnesses to talk to each other and for others of us to get a chance to talk to you.  And why not?  We have been told that no one else is listening to you.  Is this true?   The The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11 says, “anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand…”  (See complete quote below).  Yet to what avail is this special insight?  Does the Governing Body care what the Anointed have to say?  Do they ask for the opinion and spiritual insight of the anointed?  Sadly, we are getting reports from Anointed JWs, indicating they are being disrespected, ridiculed and made fun of.  They tell us that they are even being discouraged from partaking of the memorial.  Is it true that the elders and others just don’t believe that those who claim they are anointed really are?  That they do not respect insights of those claiming to be anointed?  Are the anointed who express a different point of view labeled an Apostate?  Is what we are hearing true?  Is this the norm or just unusual examples coming our way?

Why doesn’t the Governing Body consult the anointed?  Why aren’t they interested in their opinion?  Why is the Watchtower writing department adding more writers that are not anointed?  Are the Anointed a perceived threat to the power structure that must be diminished?  After all, shouldn’t JWs being looking to the anointed for spiritual guidance as opposed to Elders, Circuit Overseers and District Overseers?  Is the JW power structure trying to minimize and belittle their influence?  Is this really all just about power and who is in control?

We are not trying to incite the Anointed to rise up and rebel and fight the system.  The Lord’s anointed are a humble and meek people.  Yet we understand that if anyone expresses a difference of opinion, whether anointed or not, they are in danger of being labeled an apostate.   So, how then can the anointed be in any position to provide spiritual insights.  If it is only to tell everyone else to follow the organization, then couldn’t any JW member do that?  So then of what value are the anointed in the JW Organization?  It only seems to make sense that elders and leaders in the JW organization would desire, in humility, to look to the anointed for spiritual guidance.

What do you think?  What is really going on.  Let us know what you think.  This is a place to talk.  We want to hear from everyone, but especially from the anointed ones, whether presently JWs or whether you have been driven out of the organization.  Please enlighten us and tell us the truth of what is happening.  Here you can talk to each other and help each other out.

Full quote:  “Daniel 12:4 states: “As for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” Much of what Daniel wrote was made secret and sealed up to human understanding for centuries. But what about today?

6 In this time of the end, many faithful Christians have ‘roved about’ in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible. The result? With Jehovah’s blessing on their efforts, true knowledge has become abundant. For instance, anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand that Jesus Christ became heavenly King in the year 1914. In keeping with the apostle’s words recorded at 2 Peter 1:19-21, such anointed ones and their loyal companions are ‘paying attention to the prophetic word’ and are absolutely certain that this is the time of the end.” – “The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11.

Again,I want to thank you all for the advice.I would like to remind you girls above that I was drawn to the scriptures concerning being born again for 2 years before I had the realization that I was invited.Romans ch.8,John ch.3,being among the foremost. And as you know,it has been my premier desire and drive that all Christians of every denomination accept this simple teaching. It in my opinion is the only teaching of the Gospel I can see,”you must be born of the water and the spirit”(John 3)This has always been what I have stated here on this site. This is different than me thinking I am of a small select group only who have the spirit, hence all should listen to me.(A remnant of the 144,000,maybe just a few thousand left).I left the J.W. religion because I was stating to them the belief that all should partake of the emblems at the memorial supper, and all receive the free gift.As a result of which they could all start to wake up spiritually and start seeing the scriptures for what they are saying, not J.W. dogma(thinking).I believe that the 144,000 number is symbolic of all the Bride or all resurrected Christians(heavenly). The scriptures clearly teach that once you receive the anointing, one would start to understand the word thru that spirit.Simple.1 Jo.2:26,27 says”These things I write you about those who are trying to mislead you.And as for you,the anointing that you received from him remains in you,and you do not need anyone to be teaching you,but as the anointing from him is teaching you about all things and is true, and is no lie,and just as it has taught you, remain in union with him.”…If we are not anointed,we are extremely handicapped according to this and also Jesus words at John 3:6..”What has been born from the flesh is flesh, and what has been born from the spirit is spirit”.Also notice the plainly stated words of Paul on this important fact;”Now we received ,not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is from God,that we might know the things that have been kindly given us by God.These things we also speak, not with words taught by human wisdom, but with those taught by the spirit,as we combine spiritual[matters]with spiritual[words].”In the 1st century, the words quoted above indisputably applied to all Christians. All Christians were to “put on the Lord Jesus Christ” and walk with this anointing spirit inside them.(Rom.13:14)Without the spirit,we will fall victim to the works of the flesh, and possibly explanations of Bible topics which are not inspired from the Holy Spirit or Holy Scriptures which have been written under its inspiration. Is that not what the scriptures teach?Read the above words of Jesus and Paul, this is not my thinking,I learned it from the word and after the anointing. But this is why people speak against the anointed and the anointing, and claim they are all puffed up with pride and ridicule us and push us out.We have experienced a change that is not just a mental process. These unbelievers are just that because their religion taught them they don’t have to be anointed, the”number is filled”, and such ,something not taught by the Lord or the Apostles. This is the Gospel of Christ we are talking about.Do we believe it or not?”However if we,or an angel out of heaven were to declare to you as good news something beyond what we declared to you as good news, let him be accursed”.(and verse 7;)”…only there are certain ones who are causing you trouble and wanting to pervert the good news about the Christ.” These are among the most important of all Biblical teachings, what I call the ‘simple’Gospel. All one has to do is read the New Testament through, about 300 pages in all about like reading say Volume 1 of Studies in the Scriptures.Yet millions who say they are Christians have yet to do this.A large percentage of J.W. elders I know for a fact, never had read the Bible through, and it wasn’t even required.Lastly this site being called “Anointed Talk” describes my main reason for being here;I wasn’t anointed for 30 years,I am now,and so I have a lot to talk about. This is what happens as a result of the anointing,it just pours out, because it consumes your thought processes and spirit.”We must obey God as ruler rather than men…And we are witnesses of these matters, and so is the Holy Spirit, which God has given to those obeying Him as ruler.”(Acts 5:29,32)I strongly urge all who want to be followers of Christ to review his simply stated teachings(the Gospel)and experience what I have. This is what is meant by being “born of the water”.(John 3)One has to read the Bible to get the knowledge of the truth ,before you can be born again;”born of the spirit”.(John 4)

Thanks Sharon,Tulsigirl for the good advice. You’re right in everything you said, and thanks for broadening my picture of the differing views of Bible Students. This is what I keep forgetting,I think because I don’t hear different B.S. speak that much here.I feel more at home knowing others share my viewpoint on the subject mentioned.Thankyou.I’m sorry I am taking too strong a view of my own understanding.I don’t tie in enough with the conventions of Bible students to know what is going on in their minds,in fact I’ve never tuned into any. Will you all post a couple upcoming meetings or conventions so I can listen in? Thanks ,Sharon for setting me straight.I feel loved when you all get after me about my ego.I appreciate it,thanks again.

Hey John, You haven’t said anything about the statistics bar at the bottom. It is interactive. You can see how many are on line and the countries but the identity is not known even by us. Check it out and play around with it. BTW- yes, you are doing better on the Wednesday night study, but I still have to say I learned something when we were, off subjec,t last week from you guys. John there are thousands of visitors to this site in a month. They do not comment. They read and getting info from the site. That’s why Br. Peter has to constantly post. We have some persons that go through “contact”. Some of theses persons are in their Bible Student classes without ever commenting on this site. I met a sister at the convention and I was just amazed. She said she saw the site and got in touch with BS in her area. She said she learned from reading and following our comments. I had another sister say she has encouraged me but never post what she writes to me, so you see it is what it is, a fear free zone. All are welcome whether they comment or not. That’s what we want that everyone can feel free to come on this site and not be afraid of being revealed. Also, Brooklyn New york is on this site every month. The toolbar below gives you some idea but not all of the statistics. You can even chat with someone, one on one. You missed a talk this weekend that was awesome. I will see if Br. Peter will make it available for all to hear if he thinks appropriate. Tulsigirl and I are on adobe every weekend with conventions, you see the speaker and the audience. It’s so upbuilding. I know some persons from online only and we finally meet at conventions. I am in 2 general convention photos posted on this site. It makes the brothers real to see a face. Tell me if you can pick me out. Anonymous is not an option for me. I am not afraid of men anymore.
      Take care.

Hey,thanks sisters and Peter for your loving reply. And thankyou,Jaqueline, for that is my intention also, that the “Body has many members, but one head”,Christ. And I personally feel, these are spread out over all the earth,so when I came across this site,I was hoping to meet other members.Problem is,apparently, that so very few of J.W.s are even anointed, and of these few, almost none will respond here.Personally,I don’t have that much to contribute as far as new understanding, though I have some ideas on this or that,I feel are important.I agree with Peter, that our Wednesday study’s purpose is to discuss the subject under consideration, and if you’ve noticed,I’m doing better to do that, respecting the topic at hand and trying to keep it moving along.I do enjoy the study and the association there, thanks.Don’t mistake my ambition to learn from you other Christians or about these gifts in men(or women),that I know something more than what the gospel in the N.T.I want to stick more to those basic things recorded there, yet still,I want to understand what I can about Revelation.Bro.Mark Tribble is talking to me on my Email about Israel-prophecies.Peter,as u said, maybe it would be better to get into these more controversial things in private,as others may get upset by the arguments presented.I view all Jehovah’s servants as on the right path up into the light. If we can continue to grow up like branches off the vine, and display fruits that are righteous,we will be favored.I agree with all you three have said, thanks again.

Brother John, Without Russell’s deep study a lot of us might not really get the truth about Jehovah/Yahweh/”tetragramaton”/Father/GOD. We’d still be following the lie of a triune GOD! We’d believe in Hellfire. We would think that instead of His created Son, that Jesus Christ was GOD, too. Russell is NOT infallible. No one has ever said so. The Bible Students do NOT blindly follow him as the Witnesses follow the Governing Body and Catholics the Pope. He is a TEACHER – nothing more. Since you seem to be unable to meet with other Bible Students or listen to their recorded and written talks you really don’t have any idea what they believe. Yesterday at a convention a brother gave a VERY controversial talk about Second Death. Many were upset by it. However, do you think he’s going to be disfellowshiped? Do you think he’s going to be banned from ever speaking again? NO!!!! Bible Students are just that – STUDENTS OF THE BIBLE. We each read, study and research to get our own Truth. However, we do hope to get as close to the REAL Truth as we possibly can. Charles Taze Russell just happened to study harder, longer and deeper than a lot of us have. His insight does help us understand a great deal of the deeper truths GOD has for us. I attend through a phone conference an Ecclesia from New York City. There we discuss bible topics. You’d be amazed at the differences of understanding of each of the Brethren. I’m grateful to have an Elder who often tries to suggest for us to use our own thoughts NOT those of Russell.

There may be quite a few who “follow his teachings through every door or down every rabbit hole,” but you CANNOT say that ALL Bible Students do. That is far from the truth. That is the very reason why I feel freedom when I associate with them. I study with a group of Layman. I guess you’d say they are “other spin-off groups, who used to be ‘Bible Students’,but who DON’T view everything Russell taught.” You wouldn’t appreciate them as they believe the door to the High Calling/Church/Bride Class/144,000/Anointed is closed. But I feel free to learn from them and enjoy their fellowship and spiritual discussion. I have attended my daughter-in-law’s Baptist Church services including the Sunday school class. I don’t have to hide it or feel I did something wrong. In fact, I learned a rather fascinating bit of info at the last one that I really enjoyed.

Brother John, I was lonely, too, when I found the brethren who are the Bible Students. I feel they are a blessing from GOD.

Hebrews 10:25 does tell us not to forsake the gathering together. We are to “learn, study together and keep on perceiving what GOD’s will is.” But that does not say our understanding will be identically the same right “down every rabbit hole” I believe that is exactly what you want, Brother John. You want to be the one who tell others exactly what they should believe. You feel that if others don’t go right down that “rabbit hole” with you then they are all in error. What makes you think you have the complete and true knowledge of GOD’s word the Bible? Sure when you talk to Peter or Jacqueline or other Bible Students they might share with you the findings of Russell, but don’t they show you scripture? Yes, they DO! A lot of Bible Students have been raised as Bible Students. They learned from their parents. They read Russell. They finally learned to formulate their own understanding of the Bible. Bible Students are NOT “enslaved” to “strongly entrenched doctrine.” The Watchtower Organization is! The Catholic Church is! Many Christendom/Nominal Churches are. BUT THE BIBLE STUDENTS ARE THE MOST OPEN MINDED GROUP OF SPIRITUAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER HAD THE BLESSING TO KNOW AND ASSOCIATE WITH.

“I am close to quitting here and moving on.” Brother John, you have said that so many times and yet you don’t quit. You don’t leave. You don’t move on. Why because we, BIBLE STUDENTS, are willing to listen. Patiently, we read and let you speak your mind. Do you know that websites like Facbook, MySpace, eBay, POGO games and this site, ALL WEBSITES, have the ability to block people they feel there is a problem with? You’re not a problem here. You are welcome to express your views. But you know what? Sometimes it is time to back off and work on ourselves instead of trying to get everyone else to work on themselves and change in a manner that pleases you. Maybe it’s time for you to read Galatians 5:22 and work on the fruits of the Spirit. You know, Brother John, we call you BROTHER. And that’s even though you have VERY strong beliefs. The only problem that I see is you are like a broken record and don’t see that when you have made your point – you need to hush and move on. You are NOT – I repeat NOT going to get us all to believe right down that “rabbit hole” with you. Guess what! Some will and I really don’t believe it’s a “rabbit hole” at all. It’s just another little side trail, but that doesn’t mean you’re not on the narrow road to life.

Let me also, say, Brother John, that there is a Bible Student sister in Missouri who loves what you write and finds it quite thought provoking. But she doesn’t care to get into the discussion. There are many who visit this site and don’t contribute. I don’t comment much myself.

This site is NOT a failure. There are many of us who find peaceful refuge here. And let me repeat this site is called Friends of Jehovah’s Witnesses – NOT Friends of the Anointed Jehovah’s Witnesses. I am NOT anointed and feel quite welcomed here! ! !

I was not stumbled. I’m okay with “agreeing to disagree.” As Brother Peter said, “If I can’t listen to others, I can’t learn.”

  • John S.

And by the way,I agree with and appreciate everything you both said above, well put.And I’ll never forget the parable of the one-arm boy;Let’s all continue to do and be the best we can.

Thankyou all for responding to the questioning I am posing. This site being dedicated to the anointed ones,or may we realistically say,the assumed anointed, imagined anointed,or the “mentally diseased” ex-witnesses that THINK they are anointed, right? Now 10 months ago I decided I was desperate to find my spiritual brothers in the Christ.Yes,like Russell I understand the concept that all the anointed on earth today are the body of Christ on earth, connected to Him in heaven because he resides in us.This is possible thru the Holy Spirit,a force we are only just beginning to perceive, and will no doubt spend eternity learning about. We are not playing a video game role here. This force is from Father Jah,who we have been calling Jehovah, who I am learning may be better described as Yahweh,as one amazing researcher proposes as anyone can read about. For now I will use Yahweh, but mostly I say our Father. The reason I have dogged this site is because to Peter K’s credit,it helped me in my very first attempt on the internet to find anyone who worshipped Yahweh and understood what anointing is about.I was also excited when I started to read Bro.Russell’s books, because he also was the source of what my basic understanding was about the Bible. You see,I didn’t go onto the internet to learn anything about the anointed,as I already had it,but because I was lonely to find my brothers, who I am still searching for.The scriptures encourage us not to isolate ourselves, but congregate, learn, study together and keep on perceiving what God’s will is.Now I said some pretty strong things on this site, that were offensive possibly, and my intentions are noble, but misunderstood,I believe as coming from a bad motive,to impugn or malign Brother Russell, and those believing those who follow his teachings thru every door or down every rabbit hole.I gave a lot of time to reading his thoughts myself,as I read over 300 pages of his material from a computer screen,a first for me,which I never wish to do again.(Vol.1;Studies in the Scriptures)I feel any serious Bible student would do well to read this book,as they will start to get a feel for the basic teachings of the Bible Students religious beliefs,a group of sincere worshippers of Yahweh, attempting to follow the word,as presented from the pen of Bro. Russell.I am now learning that there are other spin-off groups, who used to be ‘Bible Students’,but who DON’T view everything Russell taught as absolute truth.Where the difference is would be something I’d like to know,as I would fall into that category, surely.(One such group appears to have one of your relatives,Bro.Peter,”Anna”…(?)working in a teaching capacity).I am very encouraged by all these discussions we are having.I don’t have time to write a paragraph or two when I correspond here,as I want to express my full question and you mostly provide good solid answers back with scriptures in addition. This is right and proper,as we are trying to teach the Bible, overturning strongly entrenched doctrine and dogma that many times has enslaved minds and ruined whole families. So it should not be a surprise if one gets into some verbal parring and thrusting with the Word, should it?Peter has publicly anounced the site as a place anointed Jehovah’s witnesses can go to talk, and talk I have, sorry if I have abused this, but there is a lot in my heart and on my mind to discuss, and I talk and think about these things all day and half the night as a rule.I am sorry if I have scared off any other anointed Witnesses from responding.I feel those that have read anything I have written may as a result at least be able to look into the mind of an anointed Jehovah’s Witness and can see what they are thinking and believing. How can that be bad?;as that was the point of this site, wasn’t it.And as Peter K brought out it is a safe haven for us to vent our feelings, beliefs, questions(?)…How in the world am I supposed to do this by writing a paragraph or two every 4 or 5 days, and getting a short response on some one topic every so often?I don’t think I will ever be able to afford to write a book on the beliefs I have,or that anyone would even want to read it,as it appears that few to none are even interested in what I have been saying over the past few months. So I am close to quitting here and moving on,but more than a little disappointed that I seem to maybe have done more harm than good, and all because I don’t believe in everything Brother Russell believes or so it seems, but have drawn different conclusions. I suppose this old dog has been barking all night long for 3 months now,and your readers are way past the point of going out to see what the heck the racket is all about, but would rather just throw a shoe at him or just wish somebody would put him down,as they say down south here.I’m sorry I have pestered you all so much, and I have a pretty good idea what it is as your goal on this site, that is to lead the ex-witnesses to Russell’s teachings, and since you believe them so much that would make sense.I told my wife 8 years ago in an argument we were having about Witness beliefs and treatment toward me,that from now on ,I don’t want to be around people who don’t like me or can’t abide my ways or beliefs.I want to apologize for being pushy or dogmatic.I sincerely wish someone else out on the net would have got on here and done some pushing too,it would have at least been a conversation, but I was the only one.Is the site a failure,Peter? Well you did get one, anyway! After I go maybe others will feel inclined to say a little something, maybe better or more accomodating. Anyway,Jesus said wisdom is proved righteous by all its works.I hope this site will work in the future for some others. Thanks for everything…John

John – My dear brother. I always wish you well. I know that you agree that each one of us needs study the Bible and submit to its teachings as best we can. We will not always agree with each other. Yet when we “speak the truth in love,” (Eph 4:15) to each other, we each have the opportunity to consider a different perspective and in good conscience weigh it against scriptures. None of us are free of bias and we can only pray that Jehovah will help us to daily grow in our understanding of His Word. When we have presented our point of view and the scriptural basis for it, if others disagree, we do not need to feel we must try again until they understand our point of view. Jehovah has it all under control. I hope I am a good listener. Jesus said to “be like little children (Matt 19:14). If I can’t listen to others, I can’t learn. James 3:1 tell us, “be not many of your teachers.” As a teacher, I am teaching, but as a student I am learning. So I think it is better for me to be a student and keep learning. In our Wednesday night study, we have a specific lessons we are tying to cover. Although differences of opinion are fine, it is not intended to be an open debate forum where we go off topic and don’t move forward with the lesson. You are always welcome to call me for a friendly and energetic discussion of whatever we might disagree about. And we can have that debate on this site as well. But the Wednesday night study is not intended for that purpose. You might want to consider setting up a blog or website where you can have the opportunity to promote the message you feel is important, as you feel the holy spirit is guiding you. – Peace, love, joy and lots of hugs. God bless you brother.

John, how are you? I would like to respond to reference of the two sisters that were stumbled. I was not stumbled. But thank you for your concern. As I understand it, the ground rules are that anyone in the world may respond to a post or part thereof. Respect, common courtesy and love for each other as brothers and the flow of the conversation requires we wait for an appropriate point. This is an open forum as I understand it. If a comment is addressed to me others may step in and answer or get in on the conversation. 2Tim. 3:1-17 has many good points on the issues involved here I feel and vs 16,17 means just that, that all scriptures are inspired of God and beneficial. Anointed brothers can not add a single thing to what has been written. Philippians.2:14 admonishes us all “Keep doing all things free from murmuring and arguments.”vs. 16 admonishes us to keep a tight grip on the word of life. Jesus is our leader not “anointed” ones. 1Cor. 6:15 “Do you not know that your bodies are members of CHRIST? Shall I, then, take the members of the Christ away and make them members of a harlot?” The point I want to make here is we are members of the body of Christ and not members of an elite anointed group. All parts of a body are neccessary to help the whole body function. If the hands and feet run off across the highway without the eyes they will be run over by a semi. This site as I see it in it’s forward is to unify us, not to separate us off into an elite “anointed” group. Maybe I can’t understand this leaning, for all anointed to come together, as you suggest as I have no such anointing in the respect you speak of. Maybe that is my problem and the Lord will reveal it to me if there is such. Phiippians 3:12 “Not that I have already received it or am already made perfect, but I am pursuing to see if I may also lay hold on that for which I have also been laid hold on by Christ Jesus.13-14″ Brothers, I do not consider myself as having laid hold on it…………I am PURSUING down toward the goal of the prize of the upward calling of God by means of Christ Jesus.” At my last breathe I hope I have attained this call. As it stand now I will not try and laud it over my brothers in Christ, but being a part of the body, together we seek to see, learn and discern more fully what he wants us all to do. Right now I am listening to what other brothers are discerning from the scriptures on the adobe hook-up in Grand Rapids Michigan. So I may not lean on my own understanding as I go out and teach others as Jesus commanded at Matt. 28 . John this is just my little imput, because I was addressed. But if not addresed, this is an open forum.
Here is a little story told at the convention. “Students in a classroom was told to raise their right hands. Everyone did except one kid in the back, he raised his left hand. Even after the teacher kept prodding him to raise his right hand, he didn”t. The teacher marched down the aisle to force this kid to raise his right hand and discovered he only had one arm, his left. HE WAS DOING THE BEST HE COULD, in obedience. Sometimes, John, brothers are doing the best they can, they just can’t do what you want them to do, all the time or say what we want them to say, all the time. The Brothers may only have a left hand to raise and that is committed to Jesus. Just a thought written in in the interest of peace and harmony.

Dear Peter,I don’t want to construe from your silence that you don’ t feel my question is worthy of a reply,as if I was being mean to you or attacking your person, because I’m not.I would like to know this, and I’ll rephrase my question into more personal a nature; As knowledgeable as you are, brother, and from our conversations, not only on this site, but the many phone conversations we’ve had since last winter on the topic under consideration;that is,’Do you think Father Jah can help you as an individual, along with the very sweet, intelligent worshippers of Jah you have used as moderators on our Wednesday night study,as well as other Bible Student elders, can receive the gifts of the Spirit today,in our time, enough to be fully equipped to shepherd the flock of God to the green pastures of truth with the 66 books of the Bible we have?Or….do you really think you need to pour over all Russell’s teachings,to see what he says on this matter or that,as if he were the only one in modern times that is empowered with the ‘Speech of Wisdom,Speech of Knowledge.”1Cor.12:4-8.And since you invited the anointed who have been persecuted out of the Jehovah’s Witness religion, whom you did refer to as your brothers,do you think any of them may have these gifts and are sincerely just trying to exercise the fire within them, not wanting to hurt anyone, but trying to preach the truth that Jehovah’s Witnesses suppressed? You may e-mail a reply if you don’t want this publicised. And if you sisters who were stumbled by my posting on another tag take issue, please, this is a conversation between friends,as I have known Peter now for many months and only am attempting to raise his awareness of his and other Bible Students own possible abilities, and to be able to act on the new phenomena, that is,Jah is now wanting his anointed to stand up and band together for a new work; that is that the “true knowledge has become abundant”,and anointed ones are eager to find their brethren and start to organize and publish these and find more ‘pearls’ in the process,as prophesied in Dan.12:3,4.And that this is not just being fulfilled by an anointed man who died 100 years ago,tho he might have compared to an Elijah or Elishah and did help bring many of us the truth. But there were many prophets at the time living in Shiloh and other cities of the prophets who were also used to convey Jah’s messages.Today Jesus said,”Wherever the carcass is,there the eagles will be gathered together”(Matt.24:28)I feel many are awaiting the new wine, the meat in due season, the green pastures of spiritual food. Are you able to help give us this”new wine” that these times are going to require? I feel confident you and other elders like you can do it.I say,Bring it on ,my brother. The new wine.Your answer, please….

    • Peter K. (admin)

John – As I said before, I think we need to be talking about scriptures, not Russell. The Bible is our authority, not any man. The Anointed are provided with the Holy Spirit to help us to discern the Truth of the scriptures. If you have new meat to provide, you are always welcome to present your point of view and the supporting scriptures. Why are you so fixated on criticizing Russell? Let’s discuss the scriptures.

Hey,Peter, and thanks for the question,”..have you found any person or book that teaches anything more interesting than what the Bible Students are teaching?”,..and,’..we want to back up what we are teaching with Bible scriptures..'[sic].This is the good and new advice/quest upon all modern-day enlightened Christians;”If anyone thinks he has acquired knowledgeof something,he does not yet know [it] just as he ought to know [it].”1 Cor.8:2 I have been researching other religious doctrine for over 5 years, along with my Bible reading.I had come to conclude years ago that the J.W. religious interpretations were very narrow ,and showed a lot of evidence of being shallow in perception. Also as I studied the diaglott translations of the N.T. ,I saw where they had altered scriptures, some just not slightly,to fit their doctrine.I suspected that the motive behind this fit the times and purposes and predictions they were trying to mold as doctrines to promote their religion rather than Jesus’ teachings(the Gospel).More on this later;as it is a scheme launched and perpetuated for over 90 years. But also I was drawn to the Bible students who also have the knowledge of God’s identity and the Kingdom purposes in part, just as the rest of us,as truly spoken by Paul;”..for we have partial knowledge, and we prophecy partially.” 1 Cor.13:9 What we do see as fact is Paul’s words at 1 Cor.12:4,5,-13..’there are varieties of gifts.’If we believe that the anointed Christians of today really have God’s spirit then we shouldn’t have a problem with this concept;that they would be prophesying, speaking words of knowledge and faith. The attitude of Witnesses is that only there writing committee in New York has the anointing and the gifts of the spirit to be able to combine the spiritual questions with the Biblical answers/scriptures,yet those with a fundamental knowledge of the Gospel easily refute the most important of their doctrines.Do the Bible Students feel they or their church’s founder,(Bro. Russell) are the only ones who can decipher or understand the Gospel? And explain please your understanding if you will,Peter, the meaning of 1 Cor.12:4-13.
