Anointed Talk

Welcome all Anointed Jehovah’s Witnesses and those who would like to talk with you!

Anointed Talk is a place for the Anointed of Jehovah’s Witnesses to talk to each other and for others of us to get a chance to talk to you.  And why not?  We have been told that no one else is listening to you.  Is this true?   The The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11 says, “anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand…”  (See complete quote below).  Yet to what avail is this special insight?  Does the Governing Body care what the Anointed have to say?  Do they ask for the opinion and spiritual insight of the anointed?  Sadly, we are getting reports from Anointed JWs, indicating they are being disrespected, ridiculed and made fun of.  They tell us that they are even being discouraged from partaking of the memorial.  Is it true that the elders and others just don’t believe that those who claim they are anointed really are?  That they do not respect insights of those claiming to be anointed?  Are the anointed who express a different point of view labeled an Apostate?  Is what we are hearing true?  Is this the norm or just unusual examples coming our way?

Why doesn’t the Governing Body consult the anointed?  Why aren’t they interested in their opinion?  Why is the Watchtower writing department adding more writers that are not anointed?  Are the Anointed a perceived threat to the power structure that must be diminished?  After all, shouldn’t JWs being looking to the anointed for spiritual guidance as opposed to Elders, Circuit Overseers and District Overseers?  Is the JW power structure trying to minimize and belittle their influence?  Is this really all just about power and who is in control?

We are not trying to incite the Anointed to rise up and rebel and fight the system.  The Lord’s anointed are a humble and meek people.  Yet we understand that if anyone expresses a difference of opinion, whether anointed or not, they are in danger of being labeled an apostate.   So, how then can the anointed be in any position to provide spiritual insights.  If it is only to tell everyone else to follow the organization, then couldn’t any JW member do that?  So then of what value are the anointed in the JW Organization?  It only seems to make sense that elders and leaders in the JW organization would desire, in humility, to look to the anointed for spiritual guidance.

What do you think?  What is really going on.  Let us know what you think.  This is a place to talk.  We want to hear from everyone, but especially from the anointed ones, whether presently JWs or whether you have been driven out of the organization.  Please enlighten us and tell us the truth of what is happening.  Here you can talk to each other and help each other out.

Full quote:  “Daniel 12:4 states: “As for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant.” Much of what Daniel wrote was made secret and sealed up to human understanding for centuries. But what about today?

6 In this time of the end, many faithful Christians have ‘roved about’ in the pages of God’s Word, the Bible. The result? With Jehovah’s blessing on their efforts, true knowledge has become abundant. For instance, anointed Witnesses of Jehovah have been blessed with insight, enabling them to understand that Jesus Christ became heavenly King in the year 1914. In keeping with the apostle’s words recorded at 2 Peter 1:19-21, such anointed ones and their loyal companions are ‘paying attention to the prophetic word’ and are absolutely certain that this is the time of the end.” – “The Watchtower, 5/15/00, p. 11.

I have been reading Studies in the Scriptures by Russell.
It starts off talking about how most people have turned away from God. If I had been given those few pages, I would have thought I was reading about the world today.
Much of what Russell writes about are dates. Again, it is the same as people are doing today. I have a hard time with teachers of Gods word who make dates of Bible present, and coming events as the apex of Gods truth.
I have never put much salt in the teaching of when this will happen, and when that will happen…because it does not matter when these things will come about. Jesus said, “Only the Father knows.” If only the father knows, I see it as a waste of time that could be spent learning about our Father?
Some years ago I was having problems with events in my life. A young Jehovah’s Witnesses sisters said to me. “Our life is very short. If we live for eighty years, it will go by very fast.”
I knew what she was saying was true. I had heard many old people say, “Life has passed me by so fast…where has it gone?” The young sister continued, “These problems will also pass you by before you know it.”
Most religions enslave their congregations with how short this world has before God will destroy it. Servants of God should not be serving for a date. We are here now. No one knows when they will die. We were created to serve our father, not just in his new system, but also in this one. I spend much of my time learning about God, and talking to those who will listen about his written word. It is a true statement, “The Kingdom is at hand.” That hand could be on the end of a short arm, or a long arm. It does not matter when it will come. We are here now, and we know who we serve, and give our time to serve him, be it here, or in the future. When the Master returns and ask, “How did you spend what I gave you?” I don’t think he wants to hear, “Well, I was trying to figure out when you were coming back.”

      Well said Dominic.

        Anointed 1,
Like Jacqueline I also read the Book of Enoch. The Early Christians also used this book. Enoch was the Grate Grand Father of Noah. I’m sure his scrolls went with Noah through the flood. The Book of Enoch is part of my Bible. If you want to know what the pre-flood world was like, read this book.
I have been away from the Watch Tower for 18 years. It took ten years to get it out of my system. It is true to say, I learned much about our Father from the JW’s. It is also true to say, “It is not Gods organization.” I do not believe any organization is. Not even this one. You can find little parts of the truth here, and there. Take what can be proven from each. The test of all truth is the Bible. The test of the Bible are the scrolls it was taken from.
Take care with your new found freedom. It is not a free pass to join the world. I have never followed the word FREEDOM. Under our Fathers Laws, we do things his way, not our way. Satan was the father of FREEDOM. He gave it to the first two humans. Stay close to YHWH. Under his Laws you will find joy. Talk to him often. Ask him to teach you the truth. Do this, and your thinking will increase. You will see simple things you have never seen before. Often I go to him , and ask, “If it’s not one of your big secrets, can you tell me what went on in the Garden? Why was this done? etc.” Try it. You will be dumbfounded how simple things start coming together in the scriptures. Let no one lead you off in a different direction. Many times you will feel alone. Look up…we are a part of many creatures who serve the Living God. We are ever alone/

        • Jacqueline

Anointed1, what great advice given here by Domenic. It will take a while to get a high control situation out of your system but if you use this freedom as he says, you will find Christ. Having that personal relationship with God is unbelievable sometimes. Asking for Him to give you the Spirit to help understand is answered in a flash sometimes on the simple things. Some of the deeper things becomes clearer also as you dig and listen and read with others. 2 or 3 three or 103 voices all looking to God and Jesus and not men will get you in a nice place. The Holy Spirit was active in the book of Acts, just really considering it will show you it’s power. How great is is when Brothers come together for fellowship and a sharing together in Christ whenever possible to upbuild and help to endure the physical revealing of the Elect One and the final judgement at the end of the millenium. It will all be worth the pain that trained us for the work ahead of helping Jesus bring many to righteousness as we plead before Jehovah.

Mr. Russell had him return in 1874. And Mr. Miller around 1844. So we have a few dates.

    • anointed1

Not sure it’s necessary to go so far back with Russell’s teachings. Not sure who Mr Miller is but again that is a bygone era.

It was an era when bible students were questioning and searching, for this they are to be commended. Although a lot of what these early bible students has since been abandoned, the basics remain, no trinity, no hellfire etc

So far as I am aware there is no reason to believe 1914 was not the year Christ became king in heaven. This was the year those early students put on white robes expecting to ascend to heaven.

  • Anonymous

I like the fact you say king designate. My reason for asking the next question is has he or when did he or when will he become king?

    • anointed1

I believe as I was taught by JW’S that the gentile times ended in 1914. As JW’S also taught me, there were other organisations at end of 19th century waiting for something to happen in 1914 but these organisations have long left off from that date.

Seems to me as historians have commented, that in 1914 one era ended and another time began. A time of upheaval ,increasing Godless and lawlessness.

      • Jacqueline

Anointed1 What about the idea that the gentiles time ran out as regards the nation of Israel being under their control. The Barfour declaration and later even after WWII, the Jewish people had the right to be a nation and inhabit Jerusalem and territories again. Like most prophecies in the Bible they take place over a period of time not all at once. If fact Israel has never got all the land they were promised by Jehovah but we know they will get it. https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/2011/09/21/ex-jws-question-bible-student-elder-is-the-jewish-return-to-israel-a-fulfillment-of-bible-prophecy/. I think understanding the prophecies about Israel will go a long way to release the mind of a former witness. We are all mixed up bvecause of this one true error of Rutherford. Just putting in my 2 cents.

        • anointed1

Israel rejected and impaled God’s son. As a Nation of people they no longer had God’s special favour, this was finalised in 36 c.e with call of gentiles to Christianity.

The modern nation of Israel has its land by decree of Man not God.

Also I tried unsuccessfully to download Ray Franz COC, would like to read it, will try again.

          • Chuck Maly

Anointed 1, wasn’t the death of Christ Gods plan? How can He not favor his people for doing what He intended all along? “Hate” or “contempt” for Gods people, the Israelites seems just wrong to me. All the minor prophets foretold of His people (read, Isrealites) returning to their land. Thy have and it is a wonderful fulfilling of prophecy even if they yet do not understand the purpose in it all. That is just par for the course throughout their history.
            In Christ,
            Br. Chuck

            • anointed1

Hi Chuck I’m sure that before the founding of the world Jah discussed with Jesus the possibility of Adam misusing free will and sadly this happened but likely as they had likely agreed aeons prior, Jah put plan b so to speak in place immediately when he foretold prophecy of gen 3.15

These prophecies have fulfillment in figurative/secondary sense as regards spiritual Israel, just as Jesus clearly said my Kingdom is no part of this world.

The history of modern day Israel is grim.

          • Jacqueline

Hi anointed1 perhaps if you read the articles on this site that gives scriptural support you like so many xjw will see Israel in the light of almost all other Christian religions. Perhaps you aren’t aware of why Rutherford assumed this. He died in 1942, had he lived until 1948 I doubt witnesses would even think that Jehovah had gone back on his promise to Abraham and that he reneged on giving them the land. Also when JW studied the Isiah book it quoted the scriptures that showed that Israel would accept Christ. Jehovah said he would forgive them!. This is why I was asking if we are Israel, hy don’t we repent now?? Because it showed that Jacob’s trouble was coming they would suffer. I knew JW view of Israel wasn’t right.
Also blessing seen on JW are not really a mark of truth. The Salkvation Army religion gets blessings every year from an anonymous donor. Baptist and Methodist are “blessed” with way more members than JW. The Catholic Church would certainly be the true religion if we counted members and things. I also can cite the many suicides, broken families and abuse situations of the JW. Some religions have more freedom to think than JW. Most Christian relkigions believe in Jesus as our saviour. also but not quite true with witnesses. Read over the articles and see if you glean something new from them on Israel. Be back later.

            • anointed1

Jacqueline, I believe the Israel situation is worldly affairs and worldly politics of which I don’t want to be a part as my leader Christ instructed.

To this day , for the most part Israel rejects Christ, 2000 years after they impaled him still not repented of this and turned to him.

JW organisation been in dark place as regards child abuse, it will be exposed and corrected.

The blessing on JW organisation has been spiritual light. Salvation army, methodist, baptist etc would hurry to tell of trinity, hell etc – they are in complete darkness.

We must serve Father with spirit and truth.

I believe that just as spirit opened my eyes to apostasy of GB it also opened my eyes to its future correction.

              We must wait.

          • Jacqueline

Hi anointed1, all i can suggest is you take a few moments to review the scriptural support for God not using the replacement theory that Rutherford introduced.
            https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/category/prophecy/israel-in-bible-prophecy/
This page has the different aspects of promises made by a God that simply cannot lie or go back on his word.
I ask you to consider because it is sometimes very difficult for an xJw to accept that Jesus deals with
Christians and Jehovah’s witnesses are the Jewish nation. This is in part because of indoctrination by a self appointed ruling body that the Nation has been cast off.
Also difficult because the average witness don’t know that Rutherford came up with his replacement theology because although the gentiles times for domination over God’s people the Jews had run out, they still were not a nation or living back in their promised land. He died before he saw it. He would have sunk deep to see the 6 day war, won without a battle with old war implements.
Because they stole the title Jehovah’s witnesses from Isaiah 43:10-12 doesn’t make them the Jewish nation.
Ray franz book is very large indeed. There are some very cheap copies on amazon.uk perhaps like on our amazon. I will try to find a downloadable copy for you and post the link. It is a must read for anyone wanting to know where the doctrines came from and why. Most witnesses think all the doctrines were what was always believed but the old timers know that is not so. The building of a mega rich corporation required that at every convention something new be presented. Please read it in Br. Franz books, he documents everything. Jacqueline

This one works is 760 pages: http://www.watchtowerlies.com/linked/in_search_of_christian_freedom_franz.pdf
            Try this download http://twitpic.com/cq39n1

            • anointed1

Hi Jacqueline, I will have a look at the scriptural support as you’ve indicated.

I really don’t see it as a stumbling block that the JW organisation is ‘megarich’ a worldwide preaching campaign and teaching programme would cost.

Thanks for links, much appreciated, will look at.

              • Jacqueline

I understand about your acceptance of the org. program of teaching, I just mentioned a little unknown fact about the org and which you will be shocked to see what it is about in the two books Br. Franz wrote.
This is a place to heal and it will take time to even recognize what some of the deeper issues are when escaping from a high control group or situation. e see it a lot with women who have escaped abusive situations or marriages, the hardest part is not physically leaving but mentally. My journey physically is nearly four years and it took some time for me to admit I was indoctrinated and had done it to so many more in field service. Now like Dominic said I discuss not indoctrinate or try to convert to a certain religion. I follow what Jesus actually told us to do bring them to him.
We have conventions bu adobe connect and some of them are posted under conventions on this site. I will attend ours in Chicago next weekend and the General in July. I hope to go to Poland in August but I am not so sure. I am enjoying the freedom to decide and think on scripture. I just finish reading for the third time the Book of Enoch and now I understand it better as I heal and move forward.
I wish you the very best anointed1 and love hearing your expressions on some of the articles. Take Care, In Christ Embrace, Jacqueline

Was so happy and amazed to find truth aged 25 in 1990 struggled to accept anointing for seven years before first partaking 1997. Thanks to Jah Jesus and Spirit for being so patient with me. Thanks to organisation for teaching me when I was a babe but sadly as I pressed on to maturity I came to see that it has failed to keep up with celestial chariot. It failed grossly in not accepting us as genuine anointed and needs to accept error of teaching on 1935 and that ‘replacements’ would be older experienced ones. There was no scriptural basis for such a claim. Anyway time will soon irrevocably prove the governing body wrong as
partakers continue to increase. I will forever have love for the JW organisation despite its failings as Israel of old they remain God’s people because of the covenant with anointed ones. My outspoken views during meetings against 1935 and against idea we are not of the channel led to my difellowship. We are of slave channel also. Governing body are also domestics and need to listen to us. Jah was patient with me to partake and I remain waiting on him to correct my dispelled ship and to correct governing body on their neglectful mistaken views of us. They will one day see the light I hope and pray they are able to stand when they do. Jah Bless

    • Jacqueline

Hello anointed1 and welcome. So glad to have you here. It becomes a real struggle when the spirit begans to enjoin with yours, isn’t it? Like so many of us we spoke out in love but the organization isn’t ready to deal with spiritual things.
May be important to you to get reinstated but really it doesn’t matter to anyone except the small number of J Witnesses. You are welcome here and feel free to comment on any of the topics.
So glad you have found peace. How did you find this site may I ask? In Christian love Jacqueline.

      • anointed1

Hi Jacqueline so nice to speak with you , I have thanked Jah for finding this site . I had tried Internet in past to see if were others of anointed out there like myself, like sheep without a shepherd. My search didn’t get me very far until the other day when I searched young anointed. So glad to have found you.

When I found truth in 1990 cold war had seemingly ended it was such a relief but it was short lived this was suddenly replaced with threat of oblivion by global warming. Environmental issues weighed so heavily on me when JW’s showed me hope of paradise earth I physically felt the weight of worry lift from my shoulders. I pictured myself in a fresh clean pollution free world and to want this hope is only natural. The holy spirit straight away began to steer me away from this hope and to the HE.

I would have more readily followed the leading of the spirit if it had not been for teaching on 1935 and literal 144. These negative burdens put upon me by the organisation as well as ideas of clinging to babylons beliefs , being ungrateful for earthly hope , thinking to much of oneself all did what they were designed to do and caused me to doubt my Heavenly Hope. And then when these lying signs have done their evil work and caused doubt I’m told if you have any doubt at all then your not of anointed.

Guess part of reason why became so out spoken against them and GB as sole channel. Congregation meant to be pillar and support of truth and support anointed not reject and belittle us.

I was difellowshiped for apostasy 2004 ,I didn’t go to hearing as didn’t feel elders had cause to have one. I went straight to appeal and won ,there was no justification whatsoever of apostasy charge but appeal chairman accused me of speaking abusively of glorious one ,I had called two elders agents of Satan. For this so called Revile ING I was difellowshiped. I figured as it was a completely different charge I would be able to appeal but was told I could not. So here I am 10 yes later and still I feel unjustly difellowshiped.

Since difellowship I have not felt abandoned by Jah his spirit has stayed with me. I couldn’t believe it when it happened but the spirit opened my eyes to Jesus words that they would expel you from the synagogue.

I continue to walk with Jah , Yeshua , and Spirit am waiting patiently and sometimes not so

Hi Jacqueline -posting on 27.03.14 Richard Tazzyman says you are ex witness – is that right?

Not sure also regarding using term bible students and term – his class – preparing for memorial?

Also do you have knowledge of so called apostasy that took place about 1974?

From my info one of things they were saying is that 144 is not literal but symbolic number.

        • Jacqueline

Hello anointed1, yes I was a witness for 61 years. The “Ask Jacqueline” article is part of my story. I just walked out Aug 31, 2009. I had decided at the end of the service year I would no longer turn in a field service time slip to any men or cong. I had stopped attending the home book studies in 2004 after our study of the Isiah book troubled me deeply. I could see very clearly that Isarel had not been replaced with Jwitnesses. Other requirements by the GB and their replacing Jesus with themselves are a constant battle in my heart that I was worshiping these men. Their unyielding stance on keeping pedophiles hidden and in positions of authority in the cong. was an issue also.
The 1974 and around issues are well documented in “Crisis of Conscience” and “In Seasrch of Christian Freedom” by Raymond Franzn and is a must read for any who has doubts about leaving the JW organization. The issues were so much deeper than 144,000 if an issue at all. I was also a frequent visitor there ar Bethel in later years and it was like an institution of rich men and drones working to maintain an image and lifestyle for those elite ones of the society.
Many view DF as a negative but I viewed it as a positive sign that one spoke up for right. I was never DF and feel those men have no authority over me. I wouldn’t meet with them if they asked me. I consider them another religion with no special authority from God. I do suspect that they mimic the Catholic Church and that they are more sinister than our mainstream religions as they likje the Catholic faith claim to be Vicars for Christ on this earth and that they are the visible earthly part of his kingdom now. They are ruling in place of or instead of Christ ot anti Christ. When they did a whole convention on Christ once it was with contempt, saying, “so they say we don’t talk about Christ well this will show them. I thought that was horrible. Them on the end of the convention they turned fiercdly back to extolling the GB. I knew I had to get out and lije you I looked and prayed.
Having doctrines and being correct on all of them is not mentioned in scripture as the identifying mark of Christianity. The truth sets onbe free and Jesus is the way,m the TRUTH and the light. I hardly knew Jesus as a witness. I was a born in and when holy Spiurit called I too knew him in a profound way and could grasp understanding of more scripture.
Br. Tazzyman and I was probably talking about the memorial and we have ecclias (congregations) but they are nbot big likje JW and most are held in homes with some being larger and have to rent a place for Sunday meeting. Leave your email address on the form where you write your name. Only admin will see it. So glad to have you. In Christ, Jacqueline.

          • anointed1

Hi Jacqueline, You have said you could see clearly that JW’S had not replaced natural Israel. Am not able to agree with you on this point. The reason being I have seen way to much operation of holy spirit within JW organisation. Added to this they have so much more truth than christen dom. Christen dom stumbles over even the basics.

However I believe that just as ancient Israel became an apostate nation JW ORGANISATION has too. Because of covenant with ancient Israel Jah stayed with them how much more so will He stay with wayward Spiritual Israel because of covenant validated by precious blood of His son.

As for wealth and riches said to be gained by those in oversight, Israel threw their children screaming alive into the fire, had male temple prostitutes, bowed down to idols, Jah did not leave them.

He will not abandon JW organisation.

The arrangement of GB is apostate akin to Catholicisms top clergy/Vatican. I believe Jah will act to correct this situation.

I fought not to get difellowshiped, why did you just leave. Did u feel spirit direct you that way?

            Will sort an email address.
            Jah Bless

It would help if a pen name were provided instead of anonymous. I was actually responding to another anonymous. Have you thought about a pen name? How about Clark Kent or Luke Skywalker? LOL

HELLO BRO PETER.you have prob seen my post on your site,Mainly to Sister Jacqueline.I read with I nterest your article on the way JWs treat the anointed in their congregations world wide & I agree with everything you have written. As a ex witness with over 50 years under their teachings I know that today they are not respected as they were in the past. When I was growing up as a witness in the late 50s ,right up to the early ninties this was not the case. They were looked up to & if you had members in your congregation you felt very honoured to know them.I spent a lot of my time talking to them,as most were very old & could talk about the early days in the organization.Acording to the witnesess they had been chosen to rule with christ as his bride. There were a part of the slave class, apointed to give spiritual food at the right time. But as they died out & still the end had not come & also because the goverening body was made up of the anointed & had died off as well they had to come up with supposed new truths to explain this.No longer are they held in esteem, and ordinary brothers, the other sheep are now as always used to write articals for the watchtower & awake. What a laugh, you are supposed to be of the heavenly class, but have no input or say.Is this the truth? I dont think so.Bro Richard.

        • Peter K. (admin)

Richard Tazzyman – Thanks for your comments. Interestingly, recently a couple of JWs came to my door. I am surprised various JWs keep coming because I always interrupt and tell them right away that I am a Bible Student and talk about the early Watchtower history and how many of the original Bible Students continued on to today. Anyway, they told me there was a younger sister that was anointed in their congregation. When I asked, they indicated she was well accepted and loved and went out regularly with others in the congregation door to door. I was a bit surprised to hear that anyone young would claim to be anointed and treated well. However, as I questioned further, they verified that as an anointed sister, she is not treated or looked at any different than the Other Sheep. So apparently, this congregation was accepting of a younger anointed sister, however as she is viewed like anyone else, she is no threat to the power structure. So it seems that over time, the anointed have lost their special status as those with deeper insight.

Hello Bro Peter. Thanks for your reply. When I made the comments about the anointed I did not mean that they were treated differnt any different than the other sheep, but they had no imput to the printed page & supposed spiritual food that comes from Brooklyn. As part of the anointed they are supposed to be ruling in the heavens with christ for a thousand years!Yet they have no part as a class in the distribution of spiritual Food. They have to take directions & counsel from elders who are not of the heavenly hope. That is was what I meant. Also as I stated, they ,the organization in america have had to change one of their most inportant doctrines, that being that the anointed class was sealed by 1935.That is why there are now many new ones & younger witnesess partaking of the enblems, as now that calling to the heavenly class has been reopened!Regards & christian Love from your bro in the truth.

Richard – Thanks. Yes, the number of memorial takers are on the rise. As best as I can tell though, there still tends to generally be great pressure discouraging any who claim to be newly annointed of partaking of the memorial.

Dont know what Curtjester is talking about and it seems he doesn’t either—-or only partially, Christ was anointed as a spiritual Son of God when he was anointed with Holy Spirit in 29 C.E. Immediately the heavens where open to him and the realization of his role in Gods purpose and now life course came flooding in on him. Thus the 40 days in the wilderness—that day was a monumental mark in his life—an event he no doubt would never forget. Literally Anointed with Gods Holy Spirit.

The next event of same nature took place at Pentecost 33 C.E. This small group of Jews had already been baptized in repentance against sins against the Law Covenant, but not baptized with holy spirit, not anointed as sons and under priests of Christ. This act took place on that day–and the influence of that spirit was immediate, no struggle, no doubt, Pentecost 33 would be etched in their minds and hearts and recorded for us that this group was “born gain” as spiritual sons of God, a new creation, with their mind set immediately being redirected to Christ ruling in the heavens and no longer thinking the kingdom would be restored to Israel.

Next was Samaritans, then Gentiles who had experienced this real event, and would keep that token, that promised spirit affirming their adoption as sons into the kingdom.

If someone has had doubt, is not sure, feels they have had a emotional experience, or struggled with that hope—-they are not one of the anointed, period…

Anonymous – Thanks. You are making some good points. At the end, you said, “If someone has had doubt, is not sure, feels they have had a emotional experience, or struggled with that hope—-they are not one of the anointed, period.”

Romans 8:16 (KJV) says, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God”

More can be found here: https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/2011/05/17/how-do-i-know-if-i-have-the-holy-spirit/

Now there are lots of people who claim to be filled with the holy spirit, yet when some of them start talking about the Bible, it quickly becomes clear to the students of God’s Word, that they have spent very little time studying the Bible and seem quite ignorant as to what it says.

      1 John 4:1 ESV
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.

One caution I would add is that even the Holy Spirit Annointed prospective body members of Christ are in the flesh and battling its weaknesses. Growth of the New Creature takes time. We all have different weaknesses in the flesh, for example, we speak of doubting Thomas. So if some in their human nature are struggling with doubts, we should not be quick to judge others, but rather to pray that Jehovah will increase their faith.

Anonymous in response to your March 26 posting you comment – immediately the heavens were opened up to him and the realisation of his role in God’s purpose and now life course came flooding in on him. This is not a biblical scripture and you must not go beyond what is written. Scripture says the heavens were opened up and the spirit like a dove came upon him ,period.

Jesus felt the power of spirit that from that point anointed him king designate. He felt the power that would enable him to do miracles and led by it into wilderness he used it’s prior teachings to stand firm against Satan.

Certainly the prior teachings of spirit would have taught him who he was and his role in God’s purpose as can be seen from him returning to house of his Father as 12 yr old boy.

John baptist knew who he was when he approached for baptism so stands to reason Jesus knew who he was.

For what I have read, this should be mostly aimed at True Truthseeker. Since nobody answered your question, and I doubt they are capable of doing so; I have done my homework so to speak on finding out exactly what your question’s answer was/is. The reason I would even venture here is that I have asked anywhere I can, that same question and nobody in Christian sites can answer that question more than a generic Christian based what-I-think-it-should-mean answer. I would never give the answer out in the open as it would just be fodder for attacking God’s people. Satan is great at using anything, scripturally, or having people’s experiences, twisted, for his agendas and advantages. So, I will say what it is not. It is not a special feeling of a great new holiness that one has. It is not something that one has and can never lose. Heb. 6: 4-6 as well as many other scriptures. What it does signify, an event, a ceremony, that will assign one, one’s proper place in God’s arrangement and purpose. Eph. 1:10, 11, Rev. 1:6. It’s obvious that the priesthood before Christ pre-figured all that. Priests, a go-between, or a mediation body to connect to God. So, anointed people are really no better than any other worthy believer. They earn eternal life a little sooner, but that’s so all will have the opportunity for eternal life, just the way God wants and has designed. Rev. 20. What I would think is important is that God would use people to outwork his plan in the last days. There would be anointings…Joel 2:28, and true knowledge… Dan. 12:4 being uncovered from the predicted wrong paths the church would soon go after the death of the apostles. II Tim.3, II Thess. 2, Rev. 2 and 3. So, how would all these people know their experience was true? The answer would be by reading the Bible. The answer is ‘hidden’ yet there in black and white. They also would be able to identify the experience of one when asked, just like it would have been common during the experiences of those in the upper room at Pentecost. Acts. 2. So, True Truthseeker, the answer is real, it is being held in check by those who would never compromise their experience, and it is with those who have been given the annointing and assignment of making known the hidden name of God, Jehovah, Rev. 4:11, Rev. 14:1, Rev. 15:4, and all the teachings that were disregarded so that truth can be taught as well as preparing those who God and Jesus could judge as being worthy to set foot in the kingdom of God, a real government (Dan 2:44) that will give the intended life under the spiritual conditions that were meant to be, from the founding of the world. It is a worthy goal to find that life that will be so good that we can’t have quite imagined it yet, but have the faith that it will be so, that we govern our lives by it each and every day. I Cor 1:9
