In reading that I guess you as a Bible Student don’t believe in Xmas? That was quite a vidio, but I don’t think he was a BS. I think he said he is born again, usally Pentecostal?
Yes max he is a born again. I found it suprising that a BA christian refused to celebrate for the right reasons! just goes to show we can’t take things for granted!!
Max, yes you’re right, I don’t believe in nor celebrate Christmas. The only thing I like about this time of year is that Jesus christ is on the minds of most people and I can use that fact as a witnessing opportunity.Don’t forget that the word “Santa” is easily changed to “Satan”!

To Sewanayana Laban;
If you do reseach on the Bible Students you will find the older are dying off and their ecclesia are disbanding from small numbers. There young ones aren’t lerning and prefer churchs with social activities instead. Why your country had over 21,000 at the Memorial a year or so ago and have about 14,000 Bible Studies. You should look into that, for Jehovah’s Witnesses know all authority was given to Jesus. But remember he hands it back to the one he is in subjection to. 1 Cor 15:27,28. If he is in subjection then he doesn’t have all power does he? Don’t let that word all fool you.

My guess is that he is reading about it over on the Bible Student’s forum hosted by Brother Rolando. There is a thread over there on the disbanding of the Jersey City ecclesia and some of the reasons behind it, and what looks like the possible upcoming disbanding of another down in Florida. Brother Rolando posted about it in the open area of his forum, so anybody can read both it and the comments.
Hallo friend JWs am glad to be on this site. I would like to teach me how what to do. If I need to attend a conference call and bible studies. Am calling from Africa Wakiso Ecclessia in Uganda. How can this work be developed to reach the masses in Uganda. In our my family we have JWs members and often come to our home for studies. What is not right with their teaching because some thing are right. They helped to understand where are dead, One true God and his son Jesus. But they did not edify me for they limit the power of the son of God and forget that all power in heaven and earth was given to the son. How can try to do the kind of work in Uganda to reach to the masses about our true teaching of Bible students!!!

Marquette park is undergoing a 13million dollar renovation and there are workers still everywhere. Also the dog walkers and exercisers are out in and around the park. I did drive my truck down instead of walking so I could rest if I got tired. I believe in being safe. I was in my neighborhood still also. Since Charles T. Russell’s book “The Divine Plan of the Ages” has been updated and simplied to the “God’s Grand Plan of the Ages” booklet,has anyone ever considered doing the same for all the other SITS volumes?
It’s a lot of work to do that, but I”ll ask the publisher about it.

The Jw’s say that those identified in Matt. 25:45 are the anointed ones living in the gospel age during the end times.If that were true, then the judgement of the sheep and goats occurs at armageddon
Ken – I thought the JW Organization changed its view in 1998 to this parable covering the thousand years.
Br. Peter the JW in 2005 admits that judgement day is the 1000yr reign of Christ. They did’nt however follow thru with changing the armageddon final judgementday doctrine.
If they did then the whole concept of preaching to save the world that is alive when armageddon hits becomes a problem. They are fairly intelligent and will probably change the armageddon (same as hellfire) scare doctrine little by little. They have had most of the generation deceased and many from prior 1979 have left. So it will be a little easier if they wait to change this on those that were young or new to the JW faith. There ares so many doctrines that need to be changed to have the theology make sense now. The average young witness uses the KH as a social place and are warned not to.Theology is not being pushed so much right now mostly rules of conduct because of scriptures like Matt.25.

Are “Christ brothers” mentioned in Matt. 25:45 the ancient worthies?
Ken – I think the “brethren” of Matt 25:40 are the kingdom sheep class, or those of the world of mankind who come into harmony, and participation in, the earthly kingdom.
In the Bible, the following are called the sons of God:
* Jesus Heb 1:2)
* Angels (Job 1:6; 38:7)
* Jesus anointed followers (Gal. 3:26)
* Natural Israel (Hosea 1:10)
* Adam. Luke 3:38)
All of these are then, or will be brethren, since they have the same Father in common.
Jesus as the second Adam becomes the everlasting Father (Isa 9:6) of the Human race in the kingdom, so all mankind has the opportunity in Christ to become brethren with each other.

So, since the ancient worthies will be the only perfect human beings at the start of the millenium, they can be called “Christ brothers” and be considered “least” when compared to the angels and the bride,if this is true, then it reinforces the idea that man’s final judgement occurs at the end of the millenium and NOT at the beginning.
The Greek”Krisis” includes the thought of a trial period along with a final judgement. So the trial period will be during the thousand years with the final judgement after the end of the thousand years.
