To listen to the recording, click above or  To listen, click here and look for the June 5, 2011 program.  — It is described at the link as “Who are the “Little Flock”, the “Great Crowd” and the “Other Sheep”?

Does the Bible teach that you should be pursuing a earthly hope today, to be a part of the Great Crowd on earth?  Or does it teach that the Christian should be pursuing a heavenly hope, to be a part of the bride of Christ?   Former JW and Bible Student elder David Stein interviewed a panel of Bible students to investigate and discuss this topic.  They will answer the questions– What does the Bible teach about the Little Flock, the Great Crowd, the Other Sheep and the Heavenly Call?  Callers participated with your own questions and/or comments.

Thanks anonymous that is great information to know. Henry will go in for surgery Wednesday a four to six hour operation. I will come here and inform all of how he turned out. Or if you come on our study for a bit Wednesday I plan to be at the hospital so if he can he can hear their voices say hello on our study. His children will be in this week also so that is a blessing.
I got calls from so many relatives this week, elder relatives included. I enjoyed our conversations. Most were just calling to see how I was doing and say they are so relieved that I am happy and not under the pressure I was under for the last 25 years as I revealed one pedophile case at a time not knowing it was an epidemic. I think they now know it was the will of God that Barbara Anderson, Bill Bowen and all of us follow the spirit and help the children.
How is it going with you and your situation? It seems you are not under as much scrutiny now or at least have more freedom. Take Care

Hi Jacqueline, sorry to hear about Henry! A six hour surgery….wow that’s a long time! is it heart related? Speaking of pedophiles…. a Jw sister recently made a comment about the U.N.’s concern with the catholic church’s pedophile dilema and immediately I thought to myself:”I wonder if they’re also going to address Jw’s pedophile dilema?!

Hi. You know Milwaukee diocese had to file bankruptcy, it was on the news last week leaving only 4 million to payout claims. They have 50 million fund for cemetery upkeep and the judge ruled they can keep that.
The papers were made public last month on the pedophile cases. For instance a whole Judicial meeting would be open to public with details just the name of the victim and some others are blotted out. I think but not sure, the JW might be the next biggest pedophile religion with the same policies in place like the RCC (Catholic). So time will tell. They have liquidated big properties and trying to make congregations autonomous so lawsuits hit only that congregation not the whole religion. Reason being they have money in many private brothers name and all types of holding corporations but cong are limited to the insurance policy. So time will tell.

Henry is have back surgery. I plan to be there with other members of his family as we know his thoughts on blood etc. His sons won’t make the proper decision so non witness relatives will be there also. I will call in on Wednesday night study to give update.

Thanks for the update Jacqueline. If I recall right, didn’t Henry used to be a JW but joined the BS’s? Yes my wie is more leanient these days, I get the DAWN magazine every month and if she happens to get if from the mail box before I do; she’ll hand it to me and say: “here’s your apostate literature”! I just laugh and tell her “how do you know it’s apostate if you’re not willing to look at it!”

Anonymous – You might jokingly tell your wife that the Dawn magazine reports that many denominational Christians are agreeing to spare JWs from Hell Torment if JWs will agree to spare denominational Christians from being destroyed in Armageddon.

Peter K. That’s a good piece of info, thanks! Isn’t it ironic how the Jw’s back in the Rutherford era used to walk public streets with placards saying: “Religion is a snare and a raquet” but yet when the same thing is done to them at their conventions it becomes an outrage!

Okay, so can I make a confession. We all know God knows your thoughts and intentions of the heart right?
So, I confess when I first saw Ernesto’s post, I said wow that is smart. In fact I wore placards in 1958 at New York international. 1956-60 at every convention. Walked all over the downtowns. My mom and others got arrested over and over in Bessemer, Alabama for disturbing the peace. I would be one of the youth to run and tell the assembly. Those placards had mean messages on them
But still we must not stoop to that level. Christ died for us all and we better be careful how we treat those he gave his life for, the whole world. He ransomed Adam and his offspring they belong to him. With Fear And Trembling. I thank Br. Peter for scriptural reminders whom we follow Christ!

Jacqueline, when I was younger and heard about the “placard carriers” I used to think “yeah! That’s telling ’em!” But later on in life I began to wonder to myself…..”wait a minute, aren’t the Jw’s a religion too?” From thence forth the doubts began to set in.

It seems those men claiming to be shepherds should have known better. There is something not right about this.
They answer to noone oversteps all boundaries and never says I am sorry. It seems more than just bad religion. More purpose seems to be behind it. It has a measure of truth but seemingly refuses to correct doctrine to what is clear from scriptures. Almost stubborn and not afraid of penalty for harming God’s sheep.

Yes He was a JW elder. And great to see you are doing fine. I was incognito for a minute at the doctor’s office. Take Care.
