- The 144,000 of Revelation 7 are the anointed Bride of Christ in heaven.
- Earth will never be literally destroyed or completely depopulated
- In the Kingdom, Christ will rule the earth in righteousness and peace
- By their faithfulness to God, the obedient of mankind will be granted what our original parents lost—everlasting life in human perfection on a paradise earth.
- Ultimately, the wicked will be eternally destroyed, but not first without a full opportunity to follow Christ.

Jen, yes JW and others are carrying out this important command, but let’s quote the scripture from the Bible. I will use the NWT.
Matt. 24:14 says” And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come. Notice it does not say then armageddon will come. The end to the preaching work will end once all nations have been witnessed to. Not converted. World conversion will occur in the millenium, when everyone (as opposed to every nation) will have an oppotunity to accept Christ without Satan’s influence. (Isa. 11:9) The end of an age or harvest that has announced the Kingdom of God. All nations will get the good news preached to them before the preaching work ends.
Actually Jen the brothers in the watchtower, the Governing Body even teaches that. A lot of us don’t really pay attention to those minute teachings. We just read, mark the answer, raise our hand and re-read the answer, go on to the next paragraph. Please research this in the society’s publications. I remember when they changed it. So we the BS are in agreement on that point and in harmony with the Bible.
Matt. 24:14 is just one of the signs among many. There are lots more. Door to Door is an effective way to preach. Informnal witness is a way. Booths at flea market, fairs, on the street corner. Whereever there are people, Jehovah Witnesses,Bible Students and others are doing this. The witnesses are just known more for the one way, door to door. They do however preach in other ways.
Jen, most of my family are witnesses and I love them dearly. I was a BS in the South as a child. Witnesses were a very small group and we all met together.
Since the internet, we are just extending a hand of fellowship to our brothers and let them know we are not dead, that was misleading. Bro. Rutherford was just angry. Look at the new DVD released this summer at the district convention. Even it admits he was a gruff unlikable man and the BS departed from him and he took the money and started a corporation like Fuller Brush Company to sell magazines, it worked. (No disrespect to Fuller) And a lot of people heard about God’s plan.
Now the GB has turned it into something authoritative, and some people love that, they like being told exactly what to do and not to do. Some do not, the BS do not have an authoritative GB. We depend more on Holy Spirit to keep us unified, not controlled. Jen, you are thinking. That’s good.

Matt24:14 the good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the earth before armagedon comes. Say what you will about my brothers but nothing can take away the fact that we are carrying that commission out with God’s spirit. The watchtower is the most read magazine in the world announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom in 180 languages.

you are right, the JW are announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom , but in an incorrect way
howewer, they are accomplishing Jesus parable of the “net” / the JW and their work is the “net” which catch “all kind of fish” /that means good and bad (within the JWs)
Now the judgement is HERE for this “good and bad/wicked” multitude called JWs !
Christ is “at the door” !
Is He now finding “faith” among the JWs ? (faith in His words and commandments , not WT’s… )

Everything that is in this demonic ruled world is carefully designed to defraud us of everlasting life. Revelation 12:9 says of Satan misleading the entire inhabited earth. He is a master of disguise, a wolf in sheeps clothing ready to devour Jehovah’s sheep. This web site,religion is a counterfeit religion designed to mislead people into thinking you are doing some kind of good here. Even your web name is misleading.

This is the original Bible Students. They have not changed the doctrines many times. In fact sometimes when the society said “New Light” they were just going back to Studies in the scriptures and saying it was new.
If this sites bothers you. Please, there is nothing wrong with worshipping the way your conscience moves you. The Bible Students and Early JW (before the 1970’s) allowed questions and Freedom to think and research. They even allowed Brothers to prepare their own talks, like the BS still do.
What is it that is disturbing you so, that you started commenting on this site?
I noticed you earlier and, frankly welcomed you, because we get so many visitors. You are a help. Please give it a chance. We are really not apostate or the Evil Slave. Brother Rutherford was just a little angry because over 75 percent left when he embarked on his doctrinal changes that would appeal to the masses, rather than simple truth.
I agree it brought in a lot that tried to mislead, but Jesus got the whole Christian Congregations in his hand. Rev. 7 chapter explains.

i was thinking of restarting my bible studies wiv jw and now im not so sure after reading some comments on here now i have doubt in my mind, i left 2yrs ago after family didnt like wot i was doing and ive always stayed in touch wiv sum of them its just that the things that ive learned always niggles at me at the bk of my mind wen i do or see sumfin and i dnt no wot to do i feel caught inbetween the way of the world and jw please cud u give me any advice thanks

I read with interest what you wrote regarding John 8:12-20. If you were to read a little further down in verses 28-30, you’ll notice that Jesus doesn’t do anything of his own will. How could that be if they are equal?
You also point out John 10, I imagine you’re refering to verse 30 where Jesus says “I and the Father are one.” Many people use this scripture as basis for belief in the trinity. Personally I don’t understand it. He clarifies what He means in John 17: 20-23, but even without the clearification, how does this scripture prove the trinity? If Jesus had said, I and the Father are one, along with the Holy Spirit, then I could see your point. But He didn’t, He only said I and the Father are one, counting only two people. Wouldn’t a statement like that be dissmisive of the third person in the trinity? It seems to me as if Jesus is being disrespectfull and completely ignoring one third of His ti-une being, if the trinity is correct.
Also, maybe you can explain to me how Paul says that Jesus will submit Himself to the Father after His thousand year reign, if both the Father and Jesus are the same person? (1 Cor 15:26-28.
I’m also confused regarding Rev.1:1. How can God give Jesus a revelation to give to His servants if Jesus is God?
I have taken your advise and have read the Bible, that’s why I have these questions.

LOOKING AT “A CHRISTIAN’S” SCRIPTURES
Let’s now take a looks at the scriptures you listed. I won’t go into depth in my answers as the references I gave you do that if you are only willing to read them. But here are some brief answers.
Matt 5:22 and Mark 9:47: “fiery hell” This is figurative language, symbolic of destruction (fire consumes). We already pointed out that the word “hell” (Greek ” Gehenna “) was the refuse dump outside Jerusalem where the garbage was burned. If you want to take Jesus words literally, then you should literally tear your eye out – Matt 5:22.
Matt 10:28, 28 “fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” If you believe in immortality of the soul, then how can the soul be destroyed in hell if it is immortal?
James 3:6: “And the tongue is a fire, the very world of iniquity; the tongue is set among our members as that which defiles the entire body, and sets on fire the course of our life, and is set on fire by hell.” NASV. This is figurative language. The tongue is not literally a fire, yet it can be very destructive like a fire. The word hell is again from the Greek word Gehenna, illustrating the destructive force of evil words.
2Pet2:4: “For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to pits of darkness, reserved for judgment;” The Greek word for Hell is tartaroo, symbolic of the lower atmosphere. Hence, the devil is called “the prince of the power of the air.” (Eph. 2:2). The angels that sinned before the flood are trapped in earth’s atmosphere, waiting for God’s future judgment.
