Hello Jim and welcome, you have a lot of points so I will pick one.
I agree that the Papal system is the great anti Christ system that changed times, days and introduced the doctrine of the blood and bread becoming the actual body of Christ. There are other anti Christ systems also. The governing body of The Jehovah witnesses is “instead of Christ” also. Most religions are still looking for a great anti christ.

About the sabbath, we today live the world of time. To keep the sabbath on “the right” day we must calculate the Jewish calendar and system. Then what? The who idea about the sabbath was to “trust God” on the seventh day of a 7 day system. “Work 6 days and keep one day of” referring to the Biblical account of God´s creation, Genesis 1.
We do not get names for this “system” of days in the lunar calendar system, but just numbers. Even cultivation the soil and business (money) followed a 7 period system where the 6 periods were “active” and the 7th periode not active (sabbath like) So was the case when the Israelites came out of Egypt.
Today we use names of the weekdays, but after 6 days of work we keep the 7th off. So, we could ask; why all this about sabbathday? Well, God rested and so shall we, but it also gives the idea of trusting in God.
Our lives and means of life (food and money), keeping the sabbath signals that we put trust in God that we will survive, even so. It also gives room for worship.
So, the idea is 6 days work and 7th day free.
