We would like to invite you to hear our special Sunday morning service from February 7, 2016, featuring a prophecy-oriented topic about the “days” in the books of Daniel and Revelation. You might get a new perspective on the subject of the rapture, compared to that depicted in the “Left Behind” series. We hope you can join us online and consider this interesting topic in the light of Scripture. Please find the connection instructions further down. Should you miss this live event, we will post a recording for your review later.
Days Matter in Daniel and Revelation
65 million books in the “Left Behind” series have been sold world-wide. Loosely based on dispensationalist interpretation of prophecies in the Biblical books of Revelation, Daniel, Isaiah and Ezekiel, “Left Behind” tells the story of the end times (set in the contemporary era), in which true believers in Christ have been “raptured,” (taken instantly to heaven) leaving the world shattered and chaotic and opening the way for the anti-Christ. Daniel’s “70 Weeks” and especially the 70th Week are where the error for “Left Behind” takes its start. In “Days Matter in Daniel and Revelation”, the reconciliation of prophecy, history, and identification of the anti-Christ will be examined from the perspective of the Bible – not fiction.
