At the time of Jesus’ sudden and unexpected return, known as Parousia, He will continue to remain present with His followers in the same “manner” as He was ”seen” by his apostles when He ascended (Acts 1:11).
That moment cannot occur unless it has been established solely by His Father (Matthew 24:36).

If the time comes when each of us, righteous or unrighteous, will be facing the great White Throne of Judgment, will any earthly organization or human entity be allowed to stand on our side to advocate on our behalf, or will each of us be completely alone?
Given the freedom we have in Christ, our only intermediary who represents us before the Father, each of us will be held accountable to Jesus for how we have exercised that liberty (John 14:6).
Also, the scripture states, “Who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved,” which means that walking in Jesus’s footsteps will be good enough for anyone’s salvation (Joel 2:32; Ro 10:13).
