District Overseer Presents Horrifying View of the Terror of Armageddon

Listen to Ciro Aulicino, a JW District Overseer and member of the “Bethel family,” circa 2007, speaks on Armageddon.

He explains his own horrifying view of how Armageddon by saying, “Very soon, the greatest tribulation since the world’s beginning will come upon all those dwelling upon the face of the earth.  This is going to be a terrible time for mankind.  Our Godly fear, including your speaker, will be increased beyond measure.  We are going to be frightened friends during this time.  However, when Armageddon is over, we are going to face a … very gruesome situation (he says chuckling)… Dead bodies and dead body parts of the wicked will lie strewn accross the surface of the ground… We will not be trumatized by His (Jehovah’s) mass annihilation of these individuals.  No.  His divine execution of the wicked will not haunt us for the rest of our lives.  Rather, we will react to it… as we do when a vicious serial murderer is executed.  How do you feel about him when he gets it?  Why we will feel an inner satisfaction.  Our indignation has been appeased.  Yes, a sense of triumph that at last Jehovah’s justice has been served…”  Wait till you hear what else he has to say!

    To Jeff and Jani;

Pastor Russell preached 1914 being the end and it did not happen. Many fell away. But the Bible in the early Church told them to be on guard. It never came in their day. What was the difference? Those who served faithful till death are in heaven now, just like the Pastor and those who were faithful till death. Look at the days of Noah. 120 years, it never said Noah new that. He was a preacher of righteousness. How many helped build the ark but got tired of waiting. And Noah’s dad Lamech died 5 years before the flood. Isn’t it possible he helped build the ark? Also, Methusalah died two years before the flood. Why he was alive for about the last 150 years of Adam’s life. Maybe he was faithful.
Look at it this way. Would if someone told you the world was coming to the end in two weeks. You say what do I have to do and he tells you and you do it. And two things could happen. If wrong you waisted two weeks of your life. If right you are saved. Bottom line, no one will fool God. Its that simple!

I say live each day as if it was the last time you’ll have to serve the Lord on earth! Like a long distance runner on his last lap…how hard will he/she try at that point?

    • Jeff M

      Two weeks!

      So the Mayans were right?

If someone shouuld come to you and tell you that you are sick and onlyl have six months left to live, would you change anything?

You should live each days like it was your last!

Max – There is no other prominent religious figure in history that was ever able to predict a future date and events from the Bible and get it right to the very year. For his success, Charles Taze Russell is called a false prophet. Generally the people who say he was wrong blame him for the mistaken predictions of the JW Organization (1925 and 1975) and have never read his work, Volume 2, “The Time is at Hand.”

Pastor Russell “owned” the Times of the Gentiles concept which identified 1914 as the end of the Times of the Gentiles. In other words, he is the one who taught, promoted and spread the concept worldwide. His reputation would have been severely damaged had nothing happened in 1914. As it turned out, Church/State rule ended, earthly Kings were dethroned forever and WWI lead to the 1917 Balfour Declaration which set aside Palestine as a homeland for the Jews. Is this all a coincidence? Did Pastor Russell just get lucky?

It is true that Brother Russell expected too much to happen too quickly. Students of prophecy at Jesus first advent, made the same mistake. At the time Jesus was born, people were in expectation of the Messiah (Luke 3:15.) They expected the 70 weeks of Daniel 9, pointed to a Messiah that would immediately defeat the Romans and set up the earthly kingdom (Luke 24:21; Acts 1:6). They were wrong to expect more than the prophecy had promised. Nevertheless, the Seventy Weeks prophecy was correct and did point Messiah, just as the 1914 prophecy was correct and pointed to the breaking up of the world empires, the end of Church-State rule and the soon to be born nation of Israel.

Luke 21:24 says, “…Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” NASV. Amazingly, when British Forces took Palestine during the World War I, Britain issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917 which brought forth the concept of a homeland for the Jews. The Berlin Congress of Nations then gave full civil rights to the Jews of Palestine.

In Lev 26 there are 4 places (vs 18, 21, 24, 28) where Jehovah says he will punish Israel 7 Times if they are unfaithful. The four instances are appropriate since there are four parts (empires) represented in the image. The iron and bronze of vs 19 relate to Daniels image — the iron being Rome and bronze being Greece. Jesus said in Luke 21:24 that “Jerusalem would be trampled by the Gentiles until the Times of the Gentiles are complete.” So Jesus related this period to the Gentile domination over the Jewish people and he never said that its end would mark the date of His return. This Gentile nation domination of the Jewish people ended in 1914.

Another amazing prophecy of Volume two is Israel’s double which identifies the year 1878, when the Berlin Congress of Nations allowed the Jews the right to buy land and colonize in Palestine—a right denied them for centuries. The first modern Jewish settlement in Palestine, Petah Tikva, was founded in 1878. Bible Students later realized that this double prophecy had a second stage pointing to 1948, the date in which Israel became a nation. In spite of these accurate prophetic fulfillments, Russell continues to be demonized as a false prophet. People tend to draw religious conclusions based on emotional feelings rather than on logical conclusions based on the patient, diligent and honest study of God’s Word.

I notice He says “Very Soon” !!!!

My whole life I was taught that Armageddon is going to be here at any moment and is “imminent.” I was told by people and the publications that I would “never grow old”. (For example – Awake,5/22/69,Pg 15 – “If are a young person, you also need to face the fact that you will never grow old in this present system of things.”) I was 16 years old in 1969 and I made wrong decisions about education and other things based on their FALSE prophecy.

In the latest Watchtower (01/01/2013) there is an article called
“Have Jehovah’s Witnesses Given Incorrect Dates for The End?”
In it they give some lame excuses trying to justify their actions.
Which some may consider a step in the right direction, but I call it arrogant because there is no apology there for all the people like myself that made bad/wrong decisions because of their “Incorrect Dates”.

The direction from the Holy Spirit said that the end was going to come in 1914, 1925, 1975. And even today I keep hearing from the platform and in the publications ”VERY SOON” and in the “VERY NEAR FUTURE”. Those statements are at best misleading! And at worst deceitful! The GB only uses them to control the masses. The GB does not know much time is left. These interpretations of Bible prophecy have proven to be false, so how can they claim to be “the Faithful and Discreet Slave?”???

    • Jeff M

You have an interesting perspective BeenMislead that I tend to agree with. I also see the fear principle in many other areas of Christianity. Many Christians go to Church believing it’ll keep them from hell. Many Churches use the fear of hell to keep the masses in check. The problem is that when Church becomes nothing more than a hell (or in the case of the JWs, “Second Death”) avoidance plan, then what kind of God are you serving? If God is always angray with us, why would we feel compelled to draw anywhere close to Him?

Check out this trailer for a documentary that is making the rounds in theaters at the moment. http://www.hellboundthemovie.com.

It definitely provokes you to think about different perspectives.

Hi beenMislead and welcome. You are not alone. It is indeed a shame the Ponzi scheme they pulled. You have friends here welcome.

Jeanette, they are trembling because they are apostates and they will die if they won’t repent.Yes Janet, they are on Devil’s side. Apostasy is a daughter of Satan.
Remain faithful.Remain odedient to the Lord.Serve Jehovah with gladness.Remain in the midst of the saints.

    • Jeff M

While there are some who can certainly appreciate the view you are presenting, I am still wondering how the view you present fits within the context of the scriptures.

I posed a reply to Jeanette on this subject yesterday.

The scriptures make it abundantly clear that even these apostate nations who attack Jehovah’s chosen people will have an opportunity after armageddon to serve him.

    • Jacqueline

Anonymous, thanks for joining the forum. I agree that Jeanette should take your advice to “remain in the midst of the saints”. While we here have not yet attained it we hope as Paul did to be counted worthy to serve with Jesus as his bride or in the temple to help persons realize He has been misrepresented. The People that our Dear Lord Jesus gave his life for you vilify. His ransom can however cover your sin and all those that have died since Adam. These are Jehovah and Jesus children, they don’t feel the way you do, thankfully. But if you remain here with us, read and look up scripture text cited it will be beneficial to both of you.
https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/category/jehovahs-witnesses-answers/apostate-jehovahs-witnesses-answers/ This will help you under stand apostasy.
https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/category/armageddon-2/ Will only those claiming to be Jehovah’s witnesses survive armageddon? This is a nice read for you and Jeanette.
And finally this one after considering the first one because you and Jeanette are breaking free a little at a time, steady goes it as you enjoy the freedom to check things out for yourself. https://www.friendsofjehovahswitnesses.com/category/jehovahs-witnesses-answers/freedom/
Again welcome and thanks for your imput. I was where you were in the early years, it took me 20 years to finally break free. May God be with you on your journey.

    • ZENODotus

      Hello Anonymous,

also from me a deep welcome… And hope you can learn something about this place…
It is not good to set on Jesus throne and decide who lives or dies… We must never place ourselves in that position.
You remember how Paul said it to a person with an unbeliever as partner? To show him how a christian acts, so he could be drawn. We must always remember that we are a spectacle to the world… And a lot of people can read your message, actually every one who comes this site can read it… You really don’t draw people closer to God to let them know about destruction if they don’t repent… That is angst-preaching, and the love who comes from it, never goes as deep as people believing God is a God of love, and loved the world so dearly that he gave is only begotten son for it. That what draws me to Jehovah… And yes armageddon will not be a pleasant time, wars will erupt, trembles… But we must confirm ourselves that God chooses for armageddon because he wants to deliver us from evil… It is a merciful deed that he will do for all of us…

God bless you brother, because I really believe that you love God!

    Welcome to the discussion.

Thank you for your point of view. While I have never been a Jehovah’s Witness, I read the recent WT regarding Armageddon (from earlier this year, and an upcoming Awake also has an article) and have questions for you if you would be willing to answer them.

I am wondering though about some of the Scriptures that suggest that not all unbelievers will be destroyed. It would appear that

    An example —

“For I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle … then the LORD will go forth and fight against those nations, as when he fights on a day of battle.” Zechariah 14:2-3(NAS)

The view of the article infers that during this Armageddon battle all nations will be brought to come against the Jehovah’s Witnesses in a last ditch effort to destroy them (for who knows what reason).

The context of Zechariah continues to explain what happens to these unbelievers.

“Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that went against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the king, the LORD of hosts . . .” (Zechariah 14:16 NAS)

It is faith strengthening to me to see that these unbelieving nations will attack God’s people and yet survive and Zechariah states that they will worship Jehovah.

Ezekiel mentions this same battle —

“In the latter years you will come into the land that is restored from the sword, whose inhabitants have been gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel which had been a continual waste; but its people were brought out from the nations, and they are living securely, all of them.” (Ezekiel 38:8 NAS)

The sybmolic description of this picture of destruction is very much to the point.

“I will call for a sword against him on all my mountains,” declares the lord GOD. “every man’s sword will be against his brother. with pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone.” (Ezekiel 38:21-22)

Yet, what does the context of Ezekiel 38-39 state will happen to these individuals who have this plague put upon them?

    The next verse states —

“I will magnify myself, sanctify myself, and make myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.”’ (Ezekiel 38:23 NAS)

The context which continues into the next chapter speaks of what will happen to God’s chosen Israel, and the unbelieving nations after that day….

“My holy name I will make known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let my holy name be profaned anymore. and the nations will know that I am the LORD, the holy one in Israel. behold, it is coming and it shall be done,” declares the lord GOD. “that is the day of which I have spoken.” (Ezekiel 39:7-8 NAS)

    Here is another —

In Revelation 11:8 Egypt is symbolically described as Satan’s kingdom. Isaiah speaks of the end of this kingdom in chapter 19.

“Behold, the LORD is riding on a swift cloud and is about to come to Egypt; the idols of Egypt will tremble at his presence, and the heart of the Egyptians will melt within them. so I will incite Egyptians against Egyptians; and they will each fight against his brother and each against his neighbor, city against city and kingdom against kingdom.” (Isaiah 19:1-2 NAS)

What will happen to the unbelievers in Egypt after that time? The context continues.

“In that day five cities in the land of Egypt will be speaking the language of Canaan and swearing allegiance to the LORD of hosts; one will be called the city of destruction. in that day there will be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the land of Egypt, and a pillar to the LORD near its border. it will become a sign and a witness to the LORD of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they will cry to the LORD because of oppressors, and he will send them a savior and a champion, and he will deliver them.” (Isaiah 19:18-20 NAS)

Haggai’s depiction of this same battle states —

“For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. ‘I will shake all the nations.” (Haggai 2:6-7 NAS and also quoted in Hebrews 12:26)

What will the nations do when Jehovah will shake them? A little further down in the context it states…

“‘I will overthrow the thrones of kingdoms and destroy the power of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots and their riders, and the horses and their riders will go down, everyone by the sword of another.’” (Haggai 2:22 NAS)

What will these nations do (returning to the context we started with…)

“And they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the LORD of hosts. ‘the silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the LORD of hosts. ‘the latter glory of this house will be greater than the former,’ says the LORD of hosts, ‘and in this place I will give peace,’ declares the LORD of hosts.” (Haggai 2:7-9 NAS)

They will bring gifts to Jehovah’s Temple and fill his house with glory!

And one more….(although there are several more…)

Zephaniah describes this same period of time.

“Therefore wait for me,” declares the LORD, “for the day when I rise up as a witness. indeed, my decision is to gather nations, to assemble kingdoms, to pour out on them my indignation, all my burning anger; for all the earth will be devoured by the fire of my zeal.” (Zephaniah 3:9 NAS)

What happens to those who will be ‘burned up’?

“For then I will give to the peoples purified lips, that all of them may call on the name of the LORD, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.” (Zephaniah 3:9 NAS)

It states that they will be given purified lips, and call on the name of Jehovah to serve him shoulder to shoulder with the Israel of God.

I would be curious as to how you understand these passages in their contexts?

  • jeanette

this video is fact and reality. those who are against it are not listening to the big picture here. he hides nothing, yes the video is very scary for those that will die but the video also talks about the chance to be among those who will live through it, why does this video scare you all?hmmm I would say maybe you are on the devils side and know you will die at armageddon?

    • Jacqueline

Jeanette a Bible Student once asked me why most JW want to live on the earth instead of run for the upward call. Your remarks answers his question, why. To be with Jesus you have to love the people he died for even your enemy. Sadly a lot of JW could care less if everyone died except the few JW. In fact many look at homes and laugh that they will be living in that home after armageddon. Please Jeanette re-read your comments. I know this is what the governing body teaches and says, but Jeanette you don’t have to be like them and spit out such hate. Door to door must be a chore for you I can imagine with this attitude.

    • Ken

Jeanette, I’m an exJw and I used to feel th same way you do, i.e. looking at “worldly people” as if they’re walking corpses unless they become a Jw,since I’ve been out I’ve learned to look at people entirely different…I now really have love and compassion for all people and realize that most are just plain blinded as to what is the truth…I hope you will someday feel the same way………

  • Adrian

Just one more point I would like to add , this lunatic says that after Armageddon there will be no more gays or lesbians, but this is surely a contradiction in JW theology because they also teach that everyone who dies before Armageddon (EX- JW’s excluded of course – sorry guys 😉 will be resurrected – right ? If that’s the case then it must include millions of gays and lesbians!

    • Ken

Right Adrian, The JW’s like to teach their members as if the New World is going to be a paradise right away but they steer them from the reality of it being a harsh world when all those sinners in the past will come back before the 1,000 Yrs. are over. So it won’t really be a paradise until all the wicked are Judged and removed!

  • Anon

@Ken , I personally know 10 persons who were either active ,associated with studying or disfellowshipped JW’s that all committed suicide , 2 were teenagers and nearly all except 1 from the same circuit . It really makes one realise how destructive this organisation and its policies and some of its teachings can be .

    • Ken

Anon, I personally knew two JW’s who commited suicide and some who attempted it, one who was my own son!

      • Jacqueline

Oh Ken, sorry to hear that! I didn’t know about your son, hope all is well now. We are dealing with a family member that is a strict JW with her children. The 14 yr old drank bleach to try and kill himself. The 11year old girl hung herself but the father found her before it was to late. The Welfare has taken the children plus 3 more. The mother says her parents who are witnesses should not have her children as they let her get raped repeatedly. I warned this in law family 20yrs ago against letting her daughters work with these brothers in field service. I knew 2 were pedophiles and I told her! Now it came out this week in court before the Arizona judge. Our family and friends here in Indiana would have been devastated if they had completed the act. But the little children are in foster care in a witness home, and she was moleesred by a couple of elders while growing up. So much for their SPIRITUAL PARADISE NOW, they can keep it. I am like Adrian, I said if I have to be under the JW system in the New world, I rather just die and let that be it. So glad I found out the truth about Armageddon! I am going to tell every JW I see that “Soylent Green are humans” ( a movie from the seventies) That JW are not telling the truth about Armageddon. They don’t have to die to get a ressurrection, they can survive armageddon or get resurection because Jesus Died as a ransom for all.

Adrian I like your reasoning on the types of people ressurrected. Smart.
We are gonna finish the race. http://www.godvine.com/What-This-Racer-Does-is-the-Most-Inspirational-Thing-You-ll-Ever-See-1169.html

        • Adrian

Hi Jacqueline ,I will share my story sometime in the near future. I sympathise a great deal with the many who suffer deep depression as JW’s,because I to was was one of those who suffered with major depression while an active Witness and attempted suicide a number of times in my early 20’s while struggling to deal with my sexual orientation, that depression began to lift ironically , the day I was disfellowshipped and my journey since has taken many twists and turns. I have a great deal of admiration for the Bible Students and like much of what I hear and read, although I have to say have lost trust in religion in general , although still believe in God and the Bible and consider myself a Christian, however because of my sexual orientation have not yet found my spiritual home.

          • Jacqueline

Hi Adrian, I really appreciate your opening up and sharing with us. I liked your view of all sorts of people coming back in the resurrection. What the Bible really says at 1Cor.6:9,10 (NIV)” Don’t you know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10. nor thieves nor the greedy, nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God” 11. ‘And that is what some of you were.'(partial quote) Persons practicing any one of theses can’t expect to go to heaven as a part of the Bride or Temple class to help Jesus bring the many to righteousness. Or we might say receive the kingdom as an inheritance. Most of the people I deal with every day falls into one of these categories and most Christians were in one of theses categories as verse 11 indicates. Do I hate my cousin who will openly tell you she deals in stolen goods? No. Most persons that pick out the sin of homosexuality as a bigger sin than lying, something the GB has sanctioned if it protects the interest of the organization, generally have a leaning toward homosexuality themselves. Adrian all of us are sinners, the difference is that some run for the prize of the “Higher Calling” to be in the administration and the Bride of Christ. Some don’t. Jesus died as a “Ransom For All Men, (1Tim 2:6)” all of Adams children. So why would I pick out one of all the sins men committ as greater than another. God does not. Some (lots) try to come to a better knowledge of God many of us change, many don’t. But liar, slanders, adulterers etc will be ressurected in Millenium and be released by ransom to start over without the blemishes imposed by ourselves and others.

Now let me deal with sexual orientation by telling you a true story (actually, a couple). I had a client come in to me and they are lying down as we talk. This person was absolutely beautiful, the hairline was perfect, the jawline and thick hair was long and simply feminine, long feminine fingers.(No surgery of any kind) Yet all sexual organs were male. Something went wrong somewhere! We talked, he-she became a regular client because no one ever explained the scripture to him at 1Cor6 as including all sorts of men, they never showed slanderers and others are mentioned. He was so happy he cried. Another Brother upon becoming a witness told me that he is both male and female inside and exteriorly, his statue could be either. (although I told him you would be an ugly girl (smile)). Another teenage boy, I knew him at 3yrs he identified as homosexual. I know the case history, he was molested from infancy before age 3 by an uncle and other men until 12 yrs old. His sexuality was set by those men, he was so nice. Befor 3yrs,it’s over. I can go on and on. I am just saying there are choices one makes, but who would aotomatically make a choice that would cause them to be looked down upon. Some do, some don’t. I will not go pass the Bible that says Jesus picks from a consecrated group, that deny any leanings they may have to run for something great, “the Higher Calling”. Not everyone can do or choose to do that. In the Millenium all men will come to accurate knowledge and have not desires of sin, but perfection, and will be allowed to make a choice to do what God expects or not. Then this scripture will apply Matt 20:28 “just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to give his life a ransom for MANY. (capital added) Some will choose Col 1:13,14 ” For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” Notice the s on sin. God determines what is a sin, whether we choose a course or whether it is imposed on us at an early age. I could tell you about girls and boys who before they could remember had the opposite sexuality imposed on them by wicked men and women. It is called pedophilia. Also hormones mixed up, and parents choosing the wrong organ for the doctors to remove at birth. These things can plunge a person into all sorts of behaviour and choices. Sin sometimes is a spiral downward hat can only be corrected in the new world. Some become mentally ill because of things imposed on them as children and suffer until the day they die.
Adrian may God Bless you and keep you. We welome you here where to the best of our knowledge we try to help God’s people understand the word of God. Read the opening “Welcome” written by the adminstrators and elders of this site. We are all awaiting the gloriuous revealing of the “Sons of God”(Rom.8:19) Take Care. And please feeel free to tell us your experience as others may benefit and receive comfort.

            • Adrian

Thanks Jacqueline for replying and for being so re-assuring and kind . I agree with much of what you write . Homosexuality is for the majority not a choice ,although I agree that one may choose or not choose to act out or live a gay lifestyle.Scientists and geneticists all agree that its a complex combination of factors that are involved and that many of these take place within the womb during development and absolutely environment and influences during the formative years all play a role in determining sexual preference later on in life. For myself I remember often crying myself to sleep for many years asking God to remove the same sex attractions I had, but to no avail.

              • Jacqueline

Hopefully some others will comment also Adrian. Have court dates today and part of tomorrow so I will be incognito for a few. Take Care Adrian Until later

              • Adrian

As promised the other day , this is my story …(Part1)
Although I live in the UK , I was born and raised in South Africa, my parents began studying with the Witnesses after 2 US missionaries knocked on their door in the late 60’s – pre 1975. Mom and Dad where not well versed in the Scriptures , so were an easy target. Growing up as a JW in a right wing conservative, fascist and racist country ,at the height of apartheid was no easy feat . The Witnesses although not banned in SA were not liked , mostly because of their neutrality and refusal to take up arms and join the military,at that time military training in SA was compulsory for all young white men 18 years and older for a period of 2 years, conscientious objectors were sentenced to 3 years detention which was later changed to 6 years community service right up until the 1990’s when Nelson Mandela was eventually released from prison. Conscription was finally done away with after he became president in 1994, so life pre the end of apartheid was not great for the Witnesses and from my own personal experience was often a living hell. I don’t for one moment regret the stand I took as a pacifist or the 4 years I spent doing community service , the military in SA at that time was all about enforcing apartheid a system that I always detested even as a child, having witnessed it’s injustices on a daily basis so I would do it all again if necessary…(to be continued)

        • Ken

Jacqueline, my son is now 27 Yrs. old and is still Df’d but he’s got a job, a car and seems very happy now!So sad to hear about those kids. Did the court case bring media attention to the JW religion? Oh, I remember seeing the movie “Soylent Green”, I believe the words uttered by that actor was….”Soylent Green is People!”I told the truth about armageddon to fellow Df’d JW and it really put a smile on his face!

          • Jacqueline

Ken, I tell everybody “Amageddon is survivable or ressurrection if you don’t”. The 14yr old went to school and asked the teacher if she would help him please and the child protective got involved. The mom tried to kill his sister that morning and he ran to school for help. It is a mess but thank God there is no media attention for the sake of the children. It’s just a mess, stuff is coming out about everything, just a mess! I am glad your son is okay. Some feel there is no other honorable way out of the witnesses and take their life but thanks to the internet, the GB has to back down or risk losing all their little money. And they love their money and property, they would rather let you go than risk it now.

  • Adrian

I’ve just listened and am shocked , the guy giving the talk is a homophobic psycho and so are all those in the audience nodding along in agreement . In the UK this guy could be charged with hate speech.

Peter K. I have grand kids who are going through this and since I’m Df’d I cannot speak with them about this. Very sad………

I remember hearing many talks like this when I was a Jw……The thing is after hearing talks like these you felt like you weren’t one of the condemned ones until you “messed up”,however, when you did mess up you felt like you were for sure, going to die at armageddon as is mentioned here. It was always either black or white,do or die, without mercy! That’s why a lot of the young JW’s, I feel, have either commited suicide or became totally “worldly”

If the harsh view of Armageddon is correct, it seems to me that would make Jehovah a hypocrate based on this scripture.

Luke 6(NASB) “32“If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33“If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34“If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount. 35“But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men. 36“Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.”
